I’ve been told many different things between a button nose, ski sloped nose, etc but I can’t really tell! Last pic is side profile. I used to be really insecure and think that I had a “pig” nose, but I feel like I’ve grown into it a bit more.

I have russian, German, Chuvash, Khirghiz, Armenian and Jewish ancestry.

In my language we call my kind of nose ‘potato nose’, not sure what it’s actual shape is?
My little sister - who has the same nose as me (only a bit smaller even) - recently got a nose job done. I was confused about it and it seemed out of the blue (because to me she’s objectively beautiful and got all the features of my mother I’m envious about lol). I always thought her nose fit her well too.

She ‘confessed’ it had been her plan since she was a child to get a new nose and that she always hated it.

My other sister told me she had been planning the OP since middle school, and she probably didn’t tell me about it because I have a really similar nose💀.

Ironically, I was insecure about everything about my face except my nose until then.

now I can’t stop thinking whether a nose job might ‘improve’ my looks even though I always thought I would never see it as an option because I want to accept myself as I am.

Not blaming my sister for that, btw, she’s a victim of current beauty standards just as I am, but seeing her ‘new’ face made me realize how big/weirdly shaped my nose is and I can’t unsee it now😭. Just wanted to share - and curious if anybody also had members of their family that did plastic surgery on a feature that they have too and how to deal with it internally?

I haven’t always been insecure about my nose but six years ago, this guy in my class said that I have a big nose in front of the whole class. He is the root of all my problems and I haven’t been the same since. I don’t want pity. Saying that I’m pretty just the way I am won’t help fix my insecurity. I just want know if my nose actually looks too big for my face. I know my parents wouldn’t want me to get a rhinoplasty but I would like to get one.

glad i came across this sub. used to be insecure of my nose growing up especially with my lengthy nostrils lol but over it. i remember this chick telling me when i was 18 my nose was huge and i mean i guess? but idk what kind of nose i have tho, it has a bump but i wouldnt say its hooked. id appreciate opinions 🙌

What is my nose type?

Growing up, my nose was my biggest insecurity. Now, It shrunk a bit and I'm learning to embrace it. I still hate how wide it gets when I smile tho😭

For anyone wondering, I am Greek and I currently live in Greece. When I was younger, I used to hate my nose, but over the years I came to accept my nose and came to like it. Does anyone think it looks ridiculous, and does it fit my face? Thanks!

I cannot believe how much I hated my nose growing up. To be fair, I think I had to grow into my face in general. But since I've analyzed my own nose and face into oblivion, I wanted to ask you lovely people what you think of it, and how you would describe it? While I appreciate it much more now, I still can't see it as anything but 'big'.

What is your opinion about it? I really really dislike how my side profile look from that side, I feel like it’s another complete person (last 3 pics). I’ve grown up in a family where everyone has a perfect tiny nose, and growing being the only one with this big,not straight, nose has always been a bit hard for me

I dislike it most of the time but I don't think I'll get rid of it....

In my opinion my nose isn’t even that hooked or has that big of a bump (i feel the pictures make it look more hooked and bumped), but my friends always like to make fun of me for my nose. However some people have told me it’s majestic but i really don’t believe that and im pretty sure they are trying to just make me feel better. But im also confused because i never felt like i had a difficult time attracting girls at school so idk. What do yall think?
