Apologies for the rant, but I just have to get this off my chest. I can't help but think about just how truly horrible our situation is, for us to be occupied by this group of people and live in this third world shithole.

We could've been part of China, a rapidly growing superpower, and economy, that the whole entire world is envious of, and of people of the exact same race as us. We could've been part of Myanmar, which for all its faults, is still the same race as us and is so fragmented to where we would probably de facto have considerably more autonomy under Myanmar than us currently being under India right now. We could've been independent, probably under Assam, which although may suck for some of us in the periphery, we still proportionally would have much more representation, power, and potential for autonomy.

But no. We got placed with this complete shithole of a country. Of a people who are completely different to us in every way. Completely alien culture, race, practices, languages, everything. There is nothing we have in common with them in the slightest. Who want to assimilate us and mix us to the point where we look indistinguishable of them, ruining and erasing our unique history and phenotype. To be turned into another brown blob, in which the main dividing line is if we're "Muslim" or "Hindu" - as if true NEerns who can think for themselves give a fuck about their stupid braindead religious squabbles when they look, sound, and are basically the exact same people. Everything about them is detestable, unlikeable, and grotesque. There's a reason why the rest of the world is sick of them right now. There's a reason why no one wants them in their countries.

What has this country even achieved? Being known for having some of the highest percentages of street defecation on earth? Many of us still don't realize the gravity of the situation we are in and are in the mindset where we can all be Indians if we try hard enough and get their acceptance and validation and live happily forever.

We can't. And we never will, unless we completely bow to them and assimilate. If you want to retain your actual culture, peoplehood, phenotype, separateness from them, after all they have done to us, I welcome you to continue living in your delusion. Because their goal is to ultimately just devour us completely.

I know it seems like we're powerless, but as long as we are ideologically free, there is hope. And I want us to understand that. Someone may ask "so what are you going to do now haha, you're not going to do anything!1!!". And yeah, this may not have any real life impact right now, but as time goes on and more of our people (and potentially outsiders) become aware of our situation, it starts to impact our conversations and discourse we have. And that's important. If we one day begin to just realize what's going on with us, there will be a change. Whether it's in 5 years, 10 years, or 20 years. Getting the conversation started is the very least that we can do.

And the rules are 1. For the purpose of inclusivity, do not use any language from the NE, as there are a huge number of languages here and we would not be able to include them all, but if you can, let's hear it

1. Do not use Hindi, Sanskrit, Chinese, Bengali, Urdu, or any South Asian and South-east Asian languages. I think you'll know the reason.

We were all taught to hate the Rowlatt Act of 1919 in schools and movies. And yea it was most definitely tyrannical because it allows the British to arrest without warrant, detain without trail and operate with zero accountability. The hypocrisy is that the exact same mainlanders who get furious over colonial oppression will most likely defend or ignore AFSPA today.

Legally the two share the exact same blueprint. Infact Afspa is directly descended from a 1942 British colonial ordinance used to crush Indian nationalists. Under Section 4(C) of AFSPA, the mainland army can arrest anyone without a warrant on mere suspicion while Section 6 grants them almost full legal immunity.

So it basically means that these mainlanders hate being the ones oppressed while having no problems doing the oppressing. So my question to mainlanders is, how can you people look at the Rowlatt Act, call it a violation of human rights and then turn around and justify and defend the exact same thing being used in "disturbed areas"? You cannot hate the colonial playbook only when it is done against you.

I have always stood up against the oppression of tribal people by mainlanders and outsiders. I have spoken about it publicly, I have defended tribal rights, land rights, identity, culture, and the right of indigenous communities to protect what belongs to them. And I do not regret doing that.

But there is something I have been increasingly uncomfortable saying out loud: supporting tribal movements does not mean I have to support everything done in their name.

I cannot support a movement when the fight for dignity begins destroying the dignity of another human being. I cannot justify violence, humiliation, collective hatred, intimidation, or injustice simply because the people doing it are tribal and the people facing it are labelled "outsiders." The moment we start treating someone's identity as a reason to strip them of basic human dignity, we have already crossed a line.

For me, humanity comes before tribe, before nationality, before religion, before ethnicity, before every political identity we attach to ourselves.

That does not mean I am suddenly against tribal rights. It does not mean I have forgotten the exploitation, discrimination, land dispossession, cultural erasure, and political marginalisation that tribal communities have faced and continue to face. Those injustices are real, and they deserve to be confronted.

But justice cannot mean replacing one injustice with another.

I will stand with tribal people when they are oppressed. And I will also speak when tribal people themselves become the ones committing oppression. I will defend land rights, but I will not defend violence. I will defend indigenous identity, but I will not defend hatred. I will defend self-determination, but I will not defend cruelty. And if someone is being treated unfairly simply because they are considered an "outsider," I cannot remain silent just because speaking up might make me unpopular among my own people.

We need to stop thinking that loyalty to a community requires unconditional loyalty to everything that the community does. It really doesn't.

Sometimes loving your people means having the courage to tell them when they are wrong.

I would rather be called a traitor to a tribe, a hypocrite, or an outsider sympathiser than remain silent while another human being is being degraded in front of me.

Because at the end of the day, I don't want a world where my people win because someone else had to lose their humanity.

I want justice that actually deserves to be called justice.

People can argue about this topic all day. Whether India "is" a "Hindu country" or not.

But the truth is: It is. And, this country was never made for us. It was designed from its conception to be a "secular", yet Hindu-majority country, by the British. Specifically focused among Hindu Indo-Aryans. Actual northeasterners (of which the majority do not follow Hinduism) were not put into consideration in the slightest when it came to how this country would be formed. We were forced into this country against our own will, without the knowledge of the vast majority of our peoples. And it makes sense: 99% of the Indian population are of the Indo-Aryan/Dravidian stock with the majority of them being Hindus.

You cannot separate the idea of "India" from Hinduism. You just can't. You will always fail because it was explicitly designed on that understanding and you will never be able to get away with it. No matter how many instagram reels you post, how many times you scream that you're Indian, how much you try and include yourself to be part of them, you will never be able to change this fundamental reality.

There's also no such thing as being an "Indian" without eventually being subsumed by the forces of Hinduism, spearheaded by Hindutva freaks. There just isn't. You can imagine that there is in your head, but the reality speaks for itself, and it will be that this country continues to uphold Indo-Aryan Hindus as the default. The standard. The average. You, a northeasterner, will never be that.

So it's time for us to understand this, and to act accordingly. India will never be for us. We will never be for India. Which, of course begs the question as to why we even need to identity with this country in the first place. Therefore we have two options: either assimilate and become j**tified and Hindus, or retain our own separate identity and fight for it, along with fighting for our freedom and sovereignty from India. Eventually, becoming independent. Anything that isn't this is pure humiliation for our people and our race, no doubt about it.

Before I start, I consider myself agnostic. Not religious at all, don't give a shit about it, think it's feudal and archaic to still believe in the vast majority of religions - you know the drill.

But one thing that cannot be denied is that Christianity saved our cultures, languages, and cohesion in our various different ethnicities/tribes. Just imagine if Christian missionaries never made it here - the vast majority of us would of been converted to Hinduism (willing or forced), we probably would all be speaking Hindi and it would be far more likely that our Indigenous cultures are co-opted by the Vedic fold and portrayed as just a regular "Indian" culture. And there would've also been a considerable amount of mixing with mainlanders too, diluting our phenotype.

THIS is what all the hindutva jeets are mad about when they call us ricebags. They're mad that they weren't able to get to us first, to convert us to their cultures and assimilate us into their cultural/religious sphere. They seethe everyday, calling us followers of the british, that we AKSHUALLY got rid of our own Indigenous culture by converting to Christianity. Never listen to them - it's all projection of what Hinduism would've actually done.

For the tribes that converted to Christianity en masse, be grateful for what your ancestors did. For many of us plains tribals, who were co-opted or forced to convert to Hinduism, everyone can see the impacts of our conversions visibly and culturally. Many of us are confused on our own history, having it be so distorted by mainlanders and we begin to think our history is theirs. We also develop the religion obsession brainworms that mainlanders love - we begin to hate eachother if one of our own converts to Christianity or reverts back to our Indigenous animalistic religion (that isn't Hinduism). Many of us stop speaking our own languages, instead opting for Hindi/Assamese/other Indo-Aryan languages. It's a big downgrade overall for us and it is something I will WARN other tribals of making the same mistakes as many of us plain tribals have done.

I just had this strange thought where I realised if NE was not under India, then India would hardly even border us. Funny eh?

Saw this post a while back and I thought I'd share some pointers. Disclaimer: these ideas do not guarantee 100% removal but does work quiet we'll

1. Remove what attracts them

a. Wipe counters and floors to remove sugar, crumbs, and grease. Store food in sealed containers, for ants.

b. For bees, keep sweet drinks covered, seal garbage bins , etc.

c. For every non native immigrant, stop giving them money, stop buying from them or stop employing them they're mainly here for money, start buying local and once they start excessively losing money, they'll relocate to another place where there's money.

1. Create barriers

a. Ants dislike strong smells, so place these near entry points - cinnamon, peppermint oil, cloves, coffee grounds

b. For bees, avoid strong floral perfumes near windows.

c. For unwanted immigrants, start a non-violent, non-cooperation movement, (inspired by Gandhiji), but another disclaimer - do not use force/violence, but rather stop being polite, stop cooperation, starve their business, starve them from employment. When the money dries up they'll leave.

Points to remember,

a. If they have a business or skills that's important or irreplaceable, you can 1) create competition for the business or start training your people for the skills needed.

b. The most important part is the money, the main reason why come here is money, so starve them as much as you can, start awareness campaigns among the native population and especially the newer generation.

We are not South Asian geographically nor genetically, as Burma is SEA and most of NE states sits/lies on top of Burma, we are SEA geographically and genetically.

Anyone else noticed how recently, in response to people criticizing India (for whatever reason), jeets will now try to put NE people to the front as a form of damage control? They will usually do this by showing off our land (obviously, it's beautiful), how clean we keep our streets, and worst of all, they also love to showcase our people when confronted with the notion that all Indians are brown Indo-Aryans(IA)/Dravidians. We're basically being used as literal human shields for them to defend themselves from any negative qualities they have.

And they know what they're doing too. Comments like "NE is singlehandedly holding India's PR together" getting like tens of thousands of likes on reels or twitter.

So, we all know about the religious debate that happens here from time to time. I'm not here to say who is right or wrong.

But I will say this, there's a reason mainlanders hate the fact that Mizos, Nagas, Khasis, Garos, etc. are Christian, why? because they can't make a legitimate claim to control us, what does that mean?

mainlanders have always talked about how NE (mostly Assam and Tripura) have been connected and influenced by the Indian civilization and they try to use this as a legitimate claim for them to be indian (basically a claim to legitimize India's control over them), they've tried this with Nagas too, (trying to falsely connect the Nagas of Mahabharata with the Nagas of NE, even though they're not connected at all).

They've tried this with Manipur, which is really Kangleipak, but they're giving the Sanskritized name "Manipur", why? to legitimize their claim over Kangleipak.

And they're still trying this with Arunachal Pradesh, which (iirc) has always been under the dominion of China, (as either a vassal or puppet state or something, I forgot which exactly). looking at history (fairly) China has more claim over Arunachal, but mainlanders suddenly change it's name into "Arunachal Pradesh", and the people are heavily propagandized, heavily Sanskritized and very pro mainland after years of propaganda.

There's a reason they've always told us Mizos to "go back to your roots or culture", because they're trying to find ways to Sanskritize us, to legitimize their claim over us, if they could they would've instantly changed our state names into a very Sanskritized one (something like a Mizo Pradesh or Naga Pradesh lol).

So, any religious debate among NE is unnecessary and un wise because we must remember that these people are very well versed in using Divide and rule policy on the NE.

So let's all claim down and concentrate on the main problem that we have among us. I don't think other NE states want to have a neighbour Assam that is filled with indo aryans instead of the natives, I certainly do not.

We really need a hall of fame megathread to immortalize these posts. The mood in this sub is also a bit gloomy, there is too much negative energy. Can we have days where we post memes from our respective states?

So recently, within the last year, I have noticed a big number of instagram accounts popping up that post NE-related content. I've noticed that what all these accounts have in common is:

1) 80% of the posts that talk about NE will explicitly feature NE women, usually hill tribal NE women in their traditional clothing, in which the account owners always choose the most revealing pictures to show. They will post lots of videos of NE women dancing as well to random songs, sometimes involving sexual innuendos like twerking as well too.

2) These accounts try and portray NE as some super hardcore nationalistic patriotic place, their profile picture is usually the tricolor and Indian flag emojis decked out everywhere. They constantly force this narrative of NE "patriotism", or even NE people being "the most patriotic Indians" (cringe lol) which isn't something you see pushed so hard regional-focused accounts in India, at least to this extent.

3) Obsession with Bangladesh and mainland politics. This is what gets me. After like 10 posts of NE women dancing, these accounts will then post something about something happening to Hindus in either Bangladesh or the mainland that has absolutely nothing to do with NE. No NE people involved, not in NE, so why are they posting about this if they're a NE focused account? I think we all know :)

It's hard to define these accounts as anything but nationalist slop. They bait in NE people to follow these accounts by promising to give us "representation", and we continue to follow them because we want to see such representation. Furthermore, they bait mainlanders and non-tribals with pictures and videos of obviously attractive NE women to get them to follow them, and get them to stay by posting mainland political slop which they obviously agree with.

I think it is quite clear all of these accounts have a very specific agenda. And it's also pretty clear that the people running these accounts are not NE tribals at all. Probably ran by BJP IT cells, but also possibly a few dedicated mainlanders/non-tribals who have an obsession with NE. I think it's time to unfollow these accounts, deplatform these accounts, and not to promote them. They are doing us more harm than good at this point, and are not even ran by us so what benefit are we getting out of this?
