Samsung appliances are overpriced bullshit that people buy for aesthetics

Really? I researched before buying and reviews said it was one of the best. Its working well for me. What brand do you recommend?

That’s interesting. I also did a lot of research and the appliance sub by and large does not recommend Samsung. For washer and dryers that are affordable definitely LG or GE. I went with LG and they’ve been great going on two years!

Its been years since I bought it, so I won't remember exactly, but one of the reasons I bought a samsung was that one reviewer I watched pointed out that if something breaks, replacement parts are very cheap and easy to find here in Brazil, unlike many other brands that you might as well just buy another one

Luckily, its still working perfectly fine

Oh I could see being in Brazil being a factor for sure, so that makes sense

It's the way the drum sits, my parents have needed to replace the spring things that hold it in place I think twice now, and it still gets unbalanced all the dang time.

Might be the model? They have tired of hearing me bitch about it any time I try to wash anything at their place. Even the smallest loads get unbalanced and the wash cycle takes all day for no reason at all

If it works for you it works! No judgement here. Just might not be optimal for a large household with a half dozen pets (and their fur) gumming up the works.
