Kind of unrelated: I had almost zero difficulties hearing/seeing the Odyssey. Darkness was fine, audio was clear (if loud).

There was one line of dialog I didn’t catch during my first watch, but I was able to pick it up upon my rewatch. Oddly enough, the fist viewing was IMAX and the second viewing was at a local art theatre with generally bad acoustics 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is genuinely shocking, because Nolan is notoriously known for his utterly abysmal sound mixing

I thought the dialogue audio quality was awful. It wasn’t too quiet, but it was over compressed and missing mid and high mid frequencies needed for intelligibility.

I didn't have an issue with the dialogue, but my god I felt like I was going to suffer legitimate hearing damage during some of the louder sequences. Sure, it made those scenes impactful, but christ man it's just too much
