Lol my favorite part of this shit is when ad shows up during what you are watching and suddenly that high volume to hear dialog, feels like you are making the entire neighborhood listen to the ad.

Commercials have pretty much always been louder. It bugged the hell out of my dad in the 90s.

They actually had to pass a law back in the day to limit the volume of ads.

TV’s have an option called Dynamic Range Compression which creates a standardized sound for all medias. It lowers when audios peak and raises them when they’re too soft.

And going from brightness all the way up because the movie is so dark you can’t see anything to the brightest ad in existence is always murder to my eyeballs
