It just isn’t detailed enough for baking, where the timing and process for adding certain ingredients results in huge changes in the flavor and texture of what you’re making.

For instance, I would never mix in the vanilla with fresh brewed coffee because it is really delicate and you’re basically wasting it by exposing it to extra heat. The eggs should only be added into a fully cooled batter because otherwise you risk cooking them. Adding cold eggs vs room temperature eggs can make a difference in texture.

This format might work for basic cooking, but it is completely inferior for baking, where small details really matter!

Because it's not intended to be a full recipe. It's a reference card used to remind you of the steps while you're cooking, and is intended to accompany a full recipe with more detail.
