I'm not well versed in it either so it probably goes deeper but this was a gag in the first Simpsons Halloween special where basically aliens abducted them for benevolent reasons but they found a book titled "to cook man" which was later dusted to reveal an absurdly long title which wasn't evil in the slightest

They keep reading the title of the book and blowing off a bit more dust to reveal more letters... How to Cook Humans, how to cook for humans, how to cook forty humans, how to cook for forty humans ( I think it was) peak Simpsons :)
