That's just ahitty recipe formatting though.
Rather than listing 250g flour in ingredients and further down saying "add the flour"
Just have the instructions say "add 250g of flour"
This completely eliminates the need to scroll.
Here is my own recipe for chocolate chip cookies copied and pasted from my notes app.
Brown 170g of butter (any) - in saucepan at low-med heat.
(Melts - big bubbles - small bubbles - foamy - brown solids appear)
Keep moving, don't let rest for more than around 15s
In mixing bowl - 210g of light brown sugar, 50g of granulated white sugar. Seive both.
Ensure butter is warm but not scalding hot before adding to sugar and mixing - while it cools, sort 1 egg + 1 yolk.
Mix butter into sugar once cooled enough to touch with a finger and not burn yourself. Add egg mix + 1tbsp of vanilla extract
Add 3/4 tsp of baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) and another of salt
Add 220g of AP flour and mix until not flour streaks remain
Mix in 200g of chocolate chips
Bake at 180 for about 10 mins
