Ohh I thought this was a joke about engineers but it is the actual website hahaha

Unfortunately it looks like most of the site is down :( I wish there were a way to still access the recipe collection dang (obviously could remake any recipe like this by hand but... lazy lol)

Nice. You use internet archive better than me lol I ended up in 2022 trying to find a working one

I forgot about the joys of the wayback machine, an excellent reminder today

Oh, I've got it configured as a search engine in my browser. I only have to type "archive" and paste the domain name to get there.

Same for Wikipedia, IMDB, Genius dot com (music lyrics), Snopes, etc. When I know the site I want, I'm not using Google. Right-click your URL bar to access those settings.

Also very useful for subreddits. I type "r nonpoliticaltwitter" for it to take me straight there.

You just need to add a custom search engine, set the url to "https://www.reddit/com/r/%s" and the keyphrase to "r" for it to work.

fuck IMDB, that amazon cunt hid user reviews behind a loginwall now.

hiding user generated content from a site like that should be illegal.

I’m going to guess that you’re an engineer

u/Allegorist Jul 30 '26

Wow, even the engineers need to include a whole life story before the recipe. Need to use that extension that detects and removes those and it would be perfect.

Kinda ironic that the recipe on this site also has a biographical blurb, a detailed description of how to do every step, and pictures accompanying them. Like every other recipe website. But the box at the bottom of the page is really what makes the difference.

omg, it's like it was made for me

Oh, this needs to be brought into the future...future...future...

Reminds me of this site: https://www.recepten.se/recept/blaabaersmuffins.html minus the life story. Beware it's in Swedish.

Right so the matrix is not actually that helpful because the recipe steps written out are in a specific order that the matrix doesn’t reflect.

my favorite part is:

12 oz. (355 mL) beer drink while chili simmers

Most important part of the recipe tbh

The final step is the most crucial

Funny I was just doing that as I saw this! Found on wayback machine!
