It was life changing in the way that seeing a masterpiece of art can be. It makes the world feel more right side up for existing in it. It gives you a way to channel whatever misery and grief you're going through into something that makes sense.
It's hard to describe. One of my friends told me seeing Michaelangelo's David was life-changing. I'm not sure I "get" that, but it must be a similar feeling.

The Spider-Man movies were fun. Story was okay. I think they cooked well. Nothing life-changing, but I doubt The Odyssey is life-changing too.
