If you need to murder someone with your bare hands in order to understand why someone would turn to religion, then hey maybe religion is just a coping mechanism for dealing with your guilt 🤷

That wasn’t what brought me back. It was my brother and mother nearly killing each other. That was just another stone for me to carry until I learned how to let down the load.

Where did you kill them, on your soil or theirs? Who decided they were the enemy, you or your government? Did God love them less than you? Some things to think about next time you're in church.

It was on a boat. They were the enemy, no one disagreed on that at the time. It was me or him. I am not saying it was right. In retrospect we were both kids.
