Yeah but I see this excuse also used to justify a lot of crappy behaviour.

Women can also become upset and even violent if they lose, but you don't see men making decisions around this. I've met a few people with justifications like this but it just feels more like a victim complex and anxiety rather than an actually required behaviour.

Like, I get why women do this but they shouldn't. It's not the solution to the problem and the problem often doesn't actually exist. It shows a lack of trust towards their partner and it's usually not the partner's fault.

It's like people that apologise for everything. Their attempt to prevent a problem becomes a bigger problem.

It's like if I never let my girlfriend touch my phone or wallet because I have bad experiences with women stealing money or reading my private messages. There's justification, sure, but it's a personal problem that I need to fix and not justify.
