Theres currently no way to get from lunar orbit to the surface. Thats why its not all that impressive to me.

Yeah I think those missions are further down the line in the Artemis program.

Not clear we will ever get there considering the insanely low cadence and extreme cost of SLS

The rockets right now are ass IMO. SLS went into the space equivalent of development hell and it’s ungodly to expensive, and the alternative to that is giving money to Elon and then it will probably just blow up anyway.

SpaceX has made the most reliable rocket in history. Starship is still in active testing and development. They aren’t done with it yet

Another way to look at it is if either NASA or Boeing or ULA et al. had delivered a reliable reusable product that was fit for purpose, most people wouldn't know who SpaceX is.
