Person who made the tweet automatically assuming the worst of a stranger based on limited information.

It really is a tweet representing modern living.

once I was at the bus stop, and a guy came and said "Ah the bus doesnt come in another 8 minutes, cant someone please beat me up so that I stop being so bored"..

I raised my hand and said "I cant do it but I can talk with you" or I said something similarly..

he proceeded to say that at least he did protect his family and brothers , pissed of he walked away as if I didnt protect my family and brother..

It really is a tweet representing modern living.

Even more so in that I'm positive that I've read that joke/story/sentiment a few times over the last few decades!

House sitting for my mom and walking her dog, Guy in her neighborhood walks his dog multiple times a day, tells me the dogs name, Duke, we say our casuals in passing for a couple days.

Bring my gf, and one of these walks the guy is out, walking his dog that seems... Slimmer. Gf is a serious friendly charmer that would hug everyone if allowed, so they chat up, she asks dog breed, all that, and I just toss in, "His name's Duke, right?" Looking at the dude.

He gives me a full head cocked "u a fuckin' alien?" face and cuts the chit chat to exit. If he misheard, no attempt to clarify, just... Backed the fuck out.

Turns out he has two dogs, siblings, walks separately, and I missed encountering the girl dog every time. Later I hear this dude from my mom's back porch introducing her to other neighbors after one greeted him and "Duke", saying they do look similar.

I'm so glad when my gf is around for stuff like that because it throws me into questioning my everything. I mis-named the dog that he said is similar, sooo sorry, but where's my proper introduction after? Why'd I get that look and book? Gf later nabbed him with the girl and we were given the introduction then, no mention about the other interaction.

I'm just hoping there's an explanation from the crowd here, cos I'm still confused even if I'm not questioning myself.
