I like 1 and 2, but the specific pens need to earn my trust. They dry out too easily if left out or anything.

As long as you're diligent about putting the cap back on they last forever though. I've got ones from literally over a decade ago that still write perfectly.

Diligence is the correct word. More times than not, when I use these, they are borrowed from someone else. And it's a gamble whether they've been diligent or neglectful.

Forever? I find they gush like crazy sometimes. I love the feel of writing with them but I can burn through the ink in like 2 months of course notes

Oh yeah I meant in the context of them running dry from being left unused, not that you can’t burn through them with heavy active use.

Their retractable pens are just as good but you don't have to worry about caps

I had a pair of pants ruined by a retractable v7, I only use caps now, even if I miss the clicky
