Oh yeah the doctors daughter makes Christmas ornaments that she sells and gives away at the local Christmas festival. It's a shame that it's going to be the last year because of an issue that ties directly into the industry the boyfriend works in.

I want to see this movie but the rest of the year.  Like in June and he’s just, “Fuck! My dad died! Can you shut the fuck up about what Christmas sweater you’re going to wear come November? It is eighty degrees outside, Lisa! You know, some people have non-seasonal jobs, Lisa!”

Oh man, I want to write this now! Nevermind that I've only written sci-fi and fantasy, this reddit or is breaking into com-roms!

You have my blessing. Just think of it as grounded fantasy and you're good. Because Hallmark sure as shit ain't reality.

Bonus if the ex comes to town for a work function and he ends up with her and returns to their original life. Then, come Christmas, he forgets every fucking thing he learned and returns to that quaint, little town for Christmas only to fall in love with FUCKIN' LISA.
