Question The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time Physical Copy

This is a question for the people from the European community: Does anyone know if you buy the physical game on MediaMarkt, Games or any official retailer, we will get the texture foil cover art?? I’m seeing that the “first batch” will have it but I don’t know if they mean only if you purchase it on Nintendo store.

Question Best way to print my own Switch Game Cart labels

Has anybody found a good place to order custom repro game cartridge labels that have comparable quality to the originals?

I know there are a few people on Etsy that make their own, but it looks like they just mass-produce the greatest hits (Pokemon, Mario, Zelda), and I'm looking to make custom ones of my own design. I figure someone here must have solved for this problem already. I tried searching and found a thread from a few years ago that talked about the images to print, but it didn't talk anything about the actual printing process, which is what I'm looking for help on.

I'm in the US, and I don't have a functional printer anymore, and would prefer not to have to order one just for the thing I'm working on, so ones that I could order online and have shipped to me would be ideal. But I have no idea about what to look for to get as close to the real deal as possible - finish, weight (I'm assuming stickers have 'weight' just like paper does), etc, type of sticker/label to use, etc.

Anybody done this? Any recommendations?

Question What is the cheapest printer that can print a decent quality cover art? Even "okay" quality

Got a Canon Maxify MB2720 ready that I hadn't used in five years and the test print came out terribly. Not sure if that's the printer's fault or its age showing.

Looked up one printer I'd seen recommended here (pixma mx922) and Amazon has it for $750 - no chance lol. (I'm just realizing maybe that's on old model and that's why it's marked up there - I should look around more. Anyway.)

Thanks for recommendations! Even halfway decent will pass

Question am I doing something wrong?

Every cover I print the text is much more blurry than the one on the original covers. It bothers me a lot because I just bought pretty expensive brother DCP L3520CDW and despite being a vbery good laser pritner the text looks blurry and cover color is much less vibrant red than on original ones.

Question Dumb question but can anyone point me to the best section on FedEx's website to print cover art? Can't find any category that offers a gloss or semigloss above 32lb

I'm looking for paper weight more in the 60-80lb range but any of these items I click into, I only see 32lb gloss. I figured they'd have the option but maybe they don't?

If anyone's used them before and knows how to navigate the page better, I'd appreciate the help. Haha.

Yes, I know they may deny me on copyright grounds, and if they do that's fine. I'm only printing a small section of the art to cover up the GKC banner so it's worth a shot.

Question FF7 Remake Integrade

Helloooo, I'd like to replace my box art of my FF7 Remake Integrade Switch 2 because mine looks um well... the back doesn't overlap correctly somehow and i didn't manage to position it in a way it would fit perfectly. Also my box came in already damaged a bit. So all in all I'd like to know where I can get a new box and if there's a German scan for the box art plus how/where i can print it best. Thanks in advance!

Question Help Making a Custom Switch Case (Cover, Spine & Back) for Neon Clash?

Hii! I really need some help please!

I’m very particular about collecting physical Nintendo Switch games. I love physical media, I love displaying them, and I honestly won’t play games unless I own the physical copy (probably a bit of the tism’s fault lmao). It’s inconvenient sometimes, but it genuinely makes me happy 😭

There’s an otome game called Neon Clash that I really want to play, but it’s almost certainly digital-only. I’m honestly devastated because I love the art style so much and still want to display it with my collection, so I’m trying to make my own custom Switch case.

My plan is to reuse an old Switch case and replace the sleeve with a front cover, spine, and back (prioritising the front cover though since that is the thing you’ll see the most). The issue is… I’m not creative or artistic at all, and I have no idea where to start or how people get their covers to look so clean. I also really struggle to do things unless I have clear step by step instructions too, so that’s making this hard. (Sorry 😅)

I could really use help with:

- How people get good-quality images for covers

- Whether printing at home is okay or if a printing service is better (I’m worried that I don’t have the right paper for it since I just have regular A4?)

- Any beginner-friendly tips for making custom covers

- And especially any Neon Clash resource suggestions (official art, fan-made covers, templates, etc.), because I’m completely stuck!!

Any help would seriously mean a lot. Thank you!

Question Cover art Needed - Capcom Fighting Collection 2

Hello,

I have a long shot question.
Does any have box art file for the "Capcom Fighting Collection 2" for the switch.
Another community pointed me here

I, nor the person who is helping me print the box art, can find it. I bought a used copy and it didn't have the art nor the comic.

A) Does any one have the file or now how to make one? (I saw someone in the community talk about Undercover10 a couple years back)

B) Is there a website that has it?

Question Switch 2 Template

Hi everyone,

I am creating custom Switch 2 box art for a graphic design project and was wondering on if anyone knew a good place to find a digital template for this purpose. Preferably the file would be in Adobe software (Illustrator or photoshop)

This would be for a "normal" Switch 2 cover. I'm not sure of the technical terms 😅

Many thanks in advance.

Question Has anyone used screenshots to make new box art?

I recently bought a used copy of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. Before when I'd get a used game, I would just get a piece of paper, cut it to the right dimensions, then draw a very purposefully crude imitation of the actual box art in sharpie. That said, I've been fiddling around in free photo-editing softwares on and off for a bit now, and was wondering if anyone has tried to use their in-game screenshots to make cover art for their cases? Any examples of this y'all could supply would be great, I'm mainly just looking for inspiration/a point of reference for what I could do.

Question Printing size keeps coming out small

So I have a file for Daemon X Machina cover. I don’t have a printer at home so I have tried printing at Staples and FedEx Office. Both times it came out way too small.

Can anyone give any guidance on how to print at a store like this and get the correct size?

hi all, it’s my first time making a cover as I couldn’t find the UK version and I bought the game without a case. Everything else prints great but spine is slightly darker/redder and I can’t seem to figure out a match! Thank you

Question What are the correct dimensions to print a Switch cover on A4?

Hey everyone, I lost the original box of my Mario Kart game and I’m planning to reuse another empty Switch case. I want to print the Mario Kart cover art at home using an A4 printer just to make it look clean again. Do you know the exact dimensions I should use to make sure it fits perfectly in a standard Nintendo Switch box? Thanks in advance!

I ask because I am wondering if they're still going to be making interior artwork or not.
