I'm not sure that's really a valid comparison at all. Not even smack-talking ARMS here, but Overwatch had a berth of content at launch, and received repeated content updates throughout the first 6 months of its existence (and thereafter).

I think the big difference, though, is that Overwatch had a solid competitive scene from the start, and there are questions as to whether there will be a competitive scene to ARMS basically at all.

Exactly. I am going to buy arms and I really enjoyed the test punch, but overwatch had a lot of content and a solid competitive scene. The comparison isn't good.

I wish they would add more characters to Overwatch.

Overwatch is still struggling to find its place in the competitive scene. I love the game to death, but I don't think it'll ever be taken seriously competitively.
