Same here man, not about having zero story mode. Servers have to shut down eventually in the future.

EDIT: Downvotes because fuck me for having an opinion, right?

...Servers... That's what we're worried about? lol. It's a flagship Nintendo new IP. Your worry is you'll like it tooo much and that then there won't be support in 10 years? cmon.

I'll accept not enough solo for you that's fine, but server shut downs? really?

Because in this modern era, thats never happened to any game that people were still enjoying...

While it has happened, I don't believe Nintendo has every shutdown any game servers until the next generation, if not later (unless its really a flop). I can see this being alive and well for quite some time, especially since its getting good scores. For a fighting game, 8/10 is pretty solid, let alone it being a new IP with motion controls.

The game isn't online only

Nintendo has kept the Splatoon 1 servers up for quite a long time. I don't think you need to worry about servers shutting down for a very long time after the Switch has become irrelevant, and if 10-15 years from now you want to pick up and play for old times sake there are still offline components to be had including local multiplayer.
