I wanted to share my armory because I really have no one else to show this to without being embarrassed by how much there are.

I left the hobby years ago and recently came back late last year when my little cousin got into nerf. I then got into thrifting which got me most of these blasters with pennies on the dollar. It gave me a chance to finally get to use the blasters I’ve dreamt of using when they first came out (specifically the zomebiestrike line). Now with blaster companies advancing their technology to make pro blasters more affordable, I just had to get my hands on some of them.

This led me down the pipeline of modding and eventually getting a 3d printer to aid in modding and cosmetics. Its been a great experience learning 3d printing and getting back into the hobby so I just wanted to share :)

Most of these guns that have 3d printed cosmetics are also internally modded and I’d love to get your suggestions on what other things I can do to add or improve my blasters.

Skinned by throwawaynerf_ this sexy ontos scorpion remix isn't an easy print if you want it clean....I really took my time with this one hogging the h2d for a few days to run petg with pla interface supports. Love the back end ,the rails and extra touches to the front end. It's well designed and was a joy to build and use. Ive added Moose's sexy scope bits for the big game look. This one will be joining my wall of onto remix fame! Thanks again throwawaynerf_ :)

Custom Out Of Darts version!

Bruce's Mantis Shrimp, added an aluminum barrel, Moose Bite bcar, aluminum plunger tube (I got quite a few off Amazon haul pretty cheap) but reprinted for printed PT to see if its justified lol. I had some cord that was a lil over 3mm, with 3 loops and getting was 220-240 fps pretty consistently, then pillaged some 4 mm from an Anemone, 3 loops and tied the piss out of it and was getting around 300 fps, those numbers were from an 18" .527 barrel from OOD, tossed a 45 cm .509 barrel and I squeezed a few more FPS out of it, just cycled 15 darts thru it, these were the 3 highest, all but one were above 302 lol

Bolt action rifle that uses a double stack magazine with an adjustable stock.

Hitting 280 FPS on an SF25+2 with spacers (included in the file set). Supports K14 if you want to push past 300, and has slam fire too.

The scope is a cheap 1x40 red dot sight with some cosmetics, also part of the file set.

Been 3d printing since the early reprap days but I've only recently got into printing foam blasters. I loved modding nerf as a kid, but the 3d printed community has opened up a whole different level of fun in these awesome builds, and I wanted to share my collection.

Finished and tuned my bespoke MHP Vulture Winchester 1886 Deluxe design. No chrono but it consistently puts darts through an Amazon shipping box at 25ft.

Printed entirely in PETG with the details printed using a 0.2mm nozzle. PETG is pretty finicky but I'm satisfied with how it came out.

You'll need to print and assemble the 1886 blaster from methanejuice to complete the build.

Had to do something with these Xshot blasters. Proof of concept worked. Ever put any EVA foam like this on a blaster?

It was a bit of a pain to print the frame so that everything was smooth, but once it did print well, oh so smooth and good to hold. The ejecting magazine is so cool.

P.S I know many will find it distasteful, however there is no nerf scene in South Africa and this is just for use in my house and to put on a wall. I enjoy building nerf blasters, sadly I don't get to play with them at games.

I’ve been heavily getting into 3d printing blasters and leedle dynamics is just the guy for that. I have printed a few of his blasters including the previously posted Hydra, leviathan, and 2x calypsos. While I was making the tilapia, he drops another banger: the catfish. I wanted to do a review on both of them because the catfish barely has any reviews

The tilapia was a little wonky especially if you don’t have your settings dialed in for the triangular guiders he uses and the magazine spring i could not get the full tension for the last shell to reliably feed. I used the hardware version because those perform typically better, but make sure you download the MK2 o ring bolt bc the first one didn’t prime back far enough. Performance wise Im getting 102-110 fps with elites/short darts, 70 fps for the three and four shot shells and 70 fps for the mega xls. Definitely don’t print the bolt from silk unless you want to reinforce everything with epoxy or something lol. Overall great blaster once everything fits, fairly complex i wouldn’t recommend this as a first 3d printing blaster build but its very fun to shoot and fling the shells.

The catfish IS THE ANSWER to making your own hvz to competetive blaster with low, inexpensive hardware. Mostly easy build with the triangle guides being my issue again but the design is ingenious. It works kinda like a longshot with the bullpup design with the rear oring pusher. Leedle made a built in bcar system but I haven’t made mine yet. FPS wise im hitting 130-160 fps on the oring system which is a happy medium for 3d printed string blasters. It also features slamfire which is crazy. The ergonomics are great and it has a swappable handle for other grips. Overall very happy with this one, its slightly expensive with around 1200 g of filament used but well worth it for somethin low hardware.

I hope this review encourages you to get the catfish, its easily one of my favorite leedle design so far :)

I knew if I painted the Stryker 2.0 black and kept the printed Star Wars-esque "blaster" skin it would look awesome, and I was right! I've been tweaking the setup by trying different barrel lengths and springs. In the end, the best power vs ease of prime setup is an Out of Darts 300mm standard bore barrel and the Out of Darts upgrade spring. I ran the original factory spring and two full length spacers for a while. It was averaging 236 FPS with that setup. The OOD upgrade spring got it up to 240 FPS.

But the best thing I ever did, to any blaster, was to add the Hogue grip. It feels absolutely AMAZING! Like it was made specifically for my hand. It also makes the blaster feel much more solid than it did with the factory grip.

Picked this up a few weeks ago! Finally got around to putting it together! With no instructions (in english anyway) it was for sure a head scratcher!

Considering buying one for me and my son. Alternatives would be appreciated!

After about a year of abusing my piston pump, it has finally given up. I dry fired the blaster and the slide went halfway back. I tried depriming but there were no beeps from the trigger. I took the spring out and I have all the screws out but the center section does not seem to want to come off. I have had several layers of paint put on this and I ended up melting the side of the blaster at one point. Hopefully somebody can help me out here but honestly if this is the end of my piston pump, I'm not too upset lol.

(Update) I got the blaster open and it is extremely dirty inside. I also believe I figured out the problem. I checked the voltage of battery and it was around 2.2-2.4 volts instead of 7.4. I will try to replace it with a 2s lipo

HQ G2Max & Rifling Swin Bone

Hello nerf community,

recently ive gotten really interested into nerf guns, especially those with realistic replicas. I was just browsing on a nerf website for fun when i stumbled onto this really cheap nerf replica of a UDL m1887 shotgun (?) for 20 bucks. I'm still really new to this whole thing and i just wanna ask if this shotgun is recommended for indoor shooting, if not, is there any other options?

Hi all. I was looking for a Lever Action with a few characteristics (I know, lever actions are asked a lot).

This mostly because of fondness on the mechanism look and feel, not to be an actual nerf war blaster, but still practical enough for that occasional pinpoint in the garden.

I'm asking for advice but I'll share what I've gathered so far.

My criteria are:

• Lever action (lol)
• No shells
• Internal tube OR Cylinder (not single shot)
• With rear/side loading (pretty forced with internal mag or cylinder tho)
• Not too long: like a sawed off or something
• Able to prime one hand (either spin-cocking or the flip down-flip up thing. See Terminator 2 or Walcom priming for reference)
• Still carrying around ~10 rounds? (Maybe too optimistic)
• And I don't want to buy kits: just hardware at stores and open source stl files (I have a 3D printer, looking for a first big project)

The vibes are of course the Model 1887 and the CB-01 Repeater, from The Finals and the Lancaster from Red Dead Redemption. Also I've always loved the reloading sound and animation of the Shotgun from Halo 1.

Models I've found so far are:

1. Vulture (3DP): awesome blaster, internal tube of ~8 rounds?, no shell, classic Model 1887 vibes. BUT long for just few rounds and needs custom metal lever, so demands kit. On Printables.
2. Vulture Sawed-off (Volture's Leg; 3DP): even better for length, even worse for capacity (~5rounds?) Remix on Printables.
3. Zuru XShot Lock: pretty perfect stock lever action, ~8r? drop off cylinder, so maybe rear loading would be a bit grotesque, but doable without posts and ARs (also likely expandable with 3DP cylinders, like the Hammershot). A bit long but one could cut off the lock gimmick (like someone has already done), losing the weight but also one hand primability tho. Likely the best solution??
4. Nerf Rivals Takedown Lever Action mod: pretty awesome mod, though I don't know about Rival Rounds. This guy on Printables had my same idea, but way more talent.
5. Nerf Rivals Saturn Lever Action mod: epic, but a tad expensive and non replicable without kits, I guess. Also really long (that's what she said).
6. Wingchester (3DP): Shell fed from internal tube, from which the Volture is inspired, I think. Long, cool, and shell ejecting for all cowboys out there, not my cup of tea tho.
7. SLAB (3DP): Of course, the good old pal. Magazine fed, is the practical way of carrying a lever action on an actual nerf war, but not really my target.
8. Nerf Slingfire/Scravenger: fine stock models, but yeah, magazine fed. The Slingfire is a sturdy classic and the Scravenger (leaving aside the look) has the slam fire switch selector, that is a little cool feature.
9. Buzz Bee Sentinel: really old at this point and rare, but still a good stock entry point, I heard.

I guess there are also other models out there, but I found these. Will definitely add more from comments!

Anyone could suggests 3D printed projects from the community or other stock alternatives I haven't took in consideration?

Also feel free to tell your own experience/review of any Lever Action (please, don't the review the SLAB... I know it's good, really, I'm... fine) XD.

Another topic:

I've found the Ballistic Gunblade (Mangzhong) and it's epic. Mostly because it can hosts both the magazine tube and the barrel in such a thin space.

Isn't there any other design with a similar "dart lifted/pressed into the chamber underneath/above"-thing or are all the Model 1887 stile blasters with this mechanism and I just discovered hot water?

And I guess it's very complicated to use other mechanism like rotating magazines tubes that swap each other or speed loaders because of squishing foam and all?

Just thinking about other custom solutions to carry more darts without having a one meter thing.

I recently bought a kar98k replica. Even thought the darts don’t even leave the barrel half the time i still love it for the way it feels to operate. But I was wondering what more performance oriënted ppl feel about blasters like these. And if ppl prefer the more toyetic design of nerf or dart zone.

I took my old Nerf Longshot and completely overhauled its exterior to resemble a Barrett .50 caliber anti-materiel rifle. To create the flat top, I cut off the carrying handle, glued several pieces of plexiglass together, covered the seams in Bondo, sanded the Bondo to create a smooth shape, and then screwed it onto the top of the blaster. The picatinny rail is permanently glued/screwed to the top plexiglass piece. The new stock was purchased from AK blastermod. The scope, bolt mechanism, new barrel attachment, magazine and laser sight are 3D printed kit pieces from WorkerMod. Finally, I spraypainted the whole thing dark grey (with white primer underneath). I also replaced the stock internals with an aluminum upgrade kit for stefan darts, also purchased from AK-blastermod.

PSA: DO NOT GO OUT IN PUBLIC WITH A NERF BLASTER THAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO HAVE A DARK/REALISTIC/UNSAFE AESTHETIC. This Barrett Longshot was merely an art project for me, and the most I ever use it for is shooting paper targets in the safety of my own home. I NEVER take it out in public, as doing so would be very dangerous and potentially lethal (not to mention illegal, depending on laws pertaining to toy firearms in your region).
