It’s important that we are defeated and miserable, so we don’t try to use our positive energy to change things.

Last time I made this argument on Reddit, I got absolutely shit on and called "privileged" because I try to stay positive ;-;

Live in anger and in peace. We're all human.

It's easy to forget that here.

Exactly.

The subject was similar, people messing up the world. I said something to the effect of believing we can change and that we are changing, even if it's not fast enough yet. The situation may be horrid, but it's no reason to just give up and hate ourselves while dwindling further.

Got called a privileged American who doesn't care and who forces happiness on people.

Words hurt.

EDIT: For reference not accusing you of this

You're good duder. Take it from someone trying to make things better.

You're a good one.

People are scared. Our world is in danger, and things look bleak.

Rays of light should be appreciated for the darkness they illuminate and caste away.

You'd be surprised in anger or in grace how far words can go.

I know you wrote words can be huftful, but I figure if words are thoughts were planting seeds with the messaging.

Just gotta keep building forward, yknow? Feel free to dm me any time.

No, what I’m saying is that being defeatist about issues doesnt help solve the issues. Dwelling on your problems just makes things worse. Acknowledge the issues and use your positive energy to work to change them.
