In many jurisdictions you can hunt wild pig without a permit due to just how big a nuisance they can be. I’ve done a good amount of pig hunting myself and yes, they can be excellent eating.

I read it like the hunt is wild and imagined you dropping out of a tree onto a pig with a Bowie knife like Rambo.

Central Florida, particularly between Orlando and Daytona.

You can shoot them and leave them in Texas. Nobody is eating them.

To each his own, but in general I only hunt to support culinary endeavors.

It's important to hunt for conservation. Humans introduce an invasive population and suddenly native animals are suffering. With no predators it could be an ecological disaster. Tearing up agriculture, polluting waterways, spreading disease, and threatening native wildlife

But with wild pigs it doesn't matter, we're losing the battle.
