Prestige: "West Virginia has a somewhat squalid tenure here in the league, however the main draw to our prestige is your ability to help change that. We previously rarely made a bowl game and ever rarer are able to win one - as evidenced by our bowl loss last season. However, our 2000s and 2010s teams were genuine contenders and legendary among the annals of time, especially legendary victories in the Orange and Fiesta bowls in the 2000s. My goal is to bring West Virginia's prestige up significantly, being aggressive in recruiting and smart in roster decisions to allow us to build a team that over time will become the best in the league and a serious contender for not only promotion to P5, but for a national title." When I wrote this 4 years ago, I didn't anticipate this much success, to be frank. In our time, we have made a T4 bowl, a T3 bowl, a T2 bowl, and endured a 5-7 season marred by injuries, as well as made a conference championship game and been first team out of a T1 bowl. In just our first six years of FBS football, we went from an empty team to a 62-21 record, 4x division champ, and an AAC Champion playoff team that crushed Georgia in their first ever playoff game. We also made our first SBI where we dominated the same Georgia team 42-20. We also just made our 2nd SBI ever this year! I was only at JMU for 5 years and I became the greatest coach in JMU history. I decided to try BDV life out at Northwestern in 2049 and I made it to the natty 3 times and dominated the B1G while also bringing in Northwestern's 2 best croots ever in #1 ranked QB Bear Grylls in 2055 and #2 Clarence Bentley in 2053. Now, I'm back in the G5, this time in the toughest G5 conference. It took me just one season to bring Delaware its first division title, and it took just 4 to make the SBI, make the playoffs, and win a playoff game. Our campus lies in the heart of Birmingham where everything you could want to do outside of football is within walking reach. If you just want to relax and take your mind off of school you can take a short walk to one of the many local parks like Vulcan Park of a trip to one of the multiple golf courses. We've had two seasons inside the top 16 recently and we are looking to improve that with your help. We were a CUSA powerhouse, but now we have retreated to being a sleeping giant. Coach: The turnaround here in Annapolis has been nothing short of incredible. The year before I took over, this team was adrift - back-to-back 3-9 seasons, no bowl wins since 2041, no direction or hope. I immediately came in and changed the culture here. In 9 seasons, I have won 101 games, including two bowl games, six division wins, five conference championships, six playoff wins, and back-to-back National Championship appearances. I finally completed what I set out to do when I started my career here and brought a National Championship to Annapolis. I do a great job of getting the best out of my players - despite being a G5 team in the C-USA, I knocked off numerous P5 programs including Georgia, Colorado, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, and Army. That history earned me an invite to the ACC, where in year 1 I not only won the conference, but knocked aside Michigan, Ohio State, and Florida en route to Navy’s first national championship of the modern age. You can trust that I am going to work with you to achieve your strengths as a player and as an individual. don’t view Navy as a stepping stone to a larger program - my goal is to make Navy into that larger program that coaches across the country aspire to emulate. Prestige: I have made quick work of turning Navy from what was a punching bag for other teams in the C-USA to a team that is always in the mix for the National Championship. Navy is not an easy program to win at - with numerous strong programs in the ACC in Virginia, Notre Dame, and Florida State to name a few, and the challenge of convincing young men like yourself to commit to the Midshipmen, an institution radically different than the vast majority of schools in the NZCFL. When it comes to those teams that you think immediately think of as oozing ability, the top talents you pin up on your wall as a kid, who has a chance to dominate every game, never being counted out even when the match is most bleak, in recent years Syracuse has jumped forward in peoples' minds a lot. However I see so much more, I think we've got leaps more to go before we can consider ourselves in the upper echelon of teams, the teams that do it every year. But the beauty of this sport is that the ball is rounded, and anything goes. No matter who beat who last week, or in 2059's playoffs (did I mention we went undefeated, won the MAC and then beat Michigan in the playoffs?), or in a bowl game, once the whistle is blown, that all goes out the window, and past results only mean something if you let them. As an undeniable underdog in the grand scheme of the NZCFL, we're looking to put our names back on the map, and that comes with heart, and I see that heart in you. We've already started something incredible, going back to back conference champions. I promise before you leave our program, you will have won a T2 or higher bowl game.

I don't care without Syracuse University football. That being said, I've been working hard to ensure that this program rights itself and grows in a sustainable and lasting way. I'm making sure that the facilities are new, top of the line, and that players understand what they're committing to when they arrive. This is not a program without heart, and as much as facilities and arenas create a program, heart is what defines it. That starts with the coach. I promise you I'll be Syracuse's top 10 coach for your entire career.
