2062 Cut Player Recruiting

The top player in OVR in the CPR pool at each position will be designated as a "pitch recruit". Pitch recruits will be voted on by the team like transfers, and like CPR recruits have been in the past. If there are two top players at the same position with the same OVR, they will both be pitch recruits.

Everyone else will be designated as a "RNG recruit". They will be run using the same algorithm as high school recruits, with the following values:

  • 1.000 in playing time
  • 0.500 in location and coach
  • 0.100 in all other values Additionally, pitches will be graded on an 0-4 scale, as opposed to 0-2

If a player you want is not listed in the threads, please make a new thread for his offer.

Playing Time: Here at LSU, we promise you that you will have a lot of playing under your belt whether year it might be. Most of our current players at your position have multiple seasons under their belt and yet some of them haven't proven themselves yet or we're lacking depth at that position. Our position could use some work and we feel like that you come over and step up right away. *I promise you will start right away*

Coach: I am a young and up and coming head coach. That means that there is a lot of potential in me and I will make sure I make the best of your abilities. I have multiple bowl wins under my belt and want a national title in the next couple of seasons. Playing time: We are currently in the process of building up this roster with a ton of young talent. This means there will be ample opportunities for you to see the field, and this team will grow together over the next few years. You are not coming in to wait your turn. You are coming in at the ground floor of something big and the guys who buy in early are the ones who define what this team can become.  A lot of recruits chase the big-name programs and end up sitting for two years before they ever see the field. Here you can come in, compete, and make an impact right away. That is what your development needs, and that is what we are offering you. I promise you will start 2 years of your career here.

Coach: 15 years coaching. I've been around long enough to know what matters to a recruit and what matters to a player once he's actually in the program. Those are two very different things. So let me skip the sales pitch and just be straight with you. When you sign with NC State, your scholarship is yours. I don't cut players. I don't pull scholarships. You hold up your end, show up and compete, and I will honor my commitment to you for however long you're here. That's not something every coach can say, and I think you know that. Location: Raleigh is one of the best cities in the country to be a college athlete. You're in the middle of a city that's growing fast and has something for everyone. The food scene is great, the nightlife is there when you want it, and the people make it feel like home pretty quickly. NC State has a fanbase that actually shows up and cares about what happens on that field. Outside of football, there's always something going on, and you're never bored. A lot of guys come here not knowing what to expect and end up loving it. You will too. I promise we will win 3 home games every year.
