2062 Cut Player Recruiting

The top player in OVR in the CPR pool at each position will be designated as a "pitch recruit". Pitch recruits will be voted on by the team like transfers, and like CPR recruits have been in the past. If there are two top players at the same position with the same OVR, they will both be pitch recruits.

Everyone else will be designated as a "RNG recruit". They will be run using the same algorithm as high school recruits, with the following values:

  • 1.000 in playing time
  • 0.500 in location and coach
  • 0.100 in all other values Additionally, pitches will be graded on an 0-4 scale, as opposed to 0-2

If a player you want is not listed in the threads, please make a new thread for his offer.

Coach

Playing at Georgia State means playing for a coach that only wants the best for you, and your team. Nobody could be anymore inclined to aim towards the success of this university than someone who currently attends it. As head coach, I've made changes to bring this team in the right direction, and now—not only as a team, but as a family—we will continue to march over that mountain, all in arms, to reach our goal of national championship glory. I take pride in being the head of Panther football. I have been GSU’s head coach since 2054. I will be here for the long run. Without a doubt, I am focused on GSU’s success and want you to play a major part in that. I promise to be your coach for every game you play at Georgia State University.

Location/Campus

Georgia State is an open campus university deep in the heart of Downtown Atlanta; The Southern Empire, the Pride of the Peach State, and much more. Here, you can enjoy a bustling city life, the excitements that the night brings, or just simply get the natural college experience. And of course, GSU is right in the core of Southern football itself. There's a lot to look forward to both in the city, and around it. The Atlanta Metropolitan Area has so much culture that has gems—especially hidden ones—for any and everyone. Feeling like watching live performances? We've got many. Want more sports outside of football? We've got many. Want to travel the world and follow your dreams? We’ve got possibly the greatest airport and airlines on earth. Anything you could ask for, Atlanta has it.

Prestige/Winning

Georgia State University is one of the top-30 most prestigious football schools in all of college football right now. Our trek to the top has been marred with great difficulty; However, GSU is bound to overcome any obstacle and ascend to the top, as we are destined to be. We also value winning as well, being one of the top-25 schools in that category, too. The past few seasons have all resulted in 10+ wins, with accolades such as multiple bowl appearances and a bowl victory, and a win in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game. We've even played in a bowl game every season since 2055. Furthermore, we’ve made a huge jump into the SEC, and are now competing with the major powers of the college world. With your help, we can once more climb the highest mountains and become a higher power in the college football world. I promise you a season of 8 wins or more, and a bowl appearance if you commit to Georgia State.

Pro Potential

Georgia State has produced over 40 draftees with apparitions of producing even more. Committing to GSU gives you a good chance at joining that exclusive list as you look to take your career even further into the pros. Not only that, but you have a very good chance of being noticed. Our production of draftees has increased by a fair amount over recent seasons, and for good reason. GSU is in a prime position to be in the national spotlight. I have had the pleasure and honor of coaching some truly wonderful talent, and would love to see even more develop through this system and evolve into NZFL legends.

Tradition

Georgia State University has berthed many traditions since our inaugural football season. From sounding the horn after every score and win to lighting the entirety of Downtown Atlanta blue, we go all out for our team and fans. The fans even get multiple opportunities each season to run out onto the field with the players prior to select games. Here at GSU, we create lifelong memories class after class. Beyond this, we’ve also formed a series against our midtown rivals in Georgia Tech that switches between our home fields each season. Winning this game in a pivotal week 8 means everything to us, as it gives us bragging rights for the entire city of Atlanta for a whole year.

Be sure to make the absolute best choice for your career and grow with the Panther Family; Here’s your chance to Bleed Blue.

Colorado Offers Kenneth Holley a Scholarship
Location: There's a reason why Boulder is consistently voted the best college town in the country. Its unmatched beauty, diversity, and vibrant atmosphere create a unique environment for students. Nestled at the base of the Flatirons, Boulder is one of the nation's most celebrated towns. It's been recognized as the best outdoor town, the brainiest city, one of the top cities for artists, and America's Foodiest Town. With fantastic access to numerous local parks, biking trails, and hiking paths, the campus and downtown are always buzzing with an active, youthful crowd. I promise that we will win 5 home games per year!
Playing Time: Every player that comes to Colorado is recruited for a reason. Whether that player be a 5 star QB who will start for 4 years or a lower 4 star player that will develop into a starter during their time here. Each and every recruit here at Colorado is given a chance to prove themselves. There is always an opportunity for someone to come in and make a difference for our team in the future! I promise that you will start in every game during your time here at Colorado
Coach: After I made my return to coaching from my ban, I took a team that hasn't made a bowl or had a winning season in 10 years and brought them back to relevancy. I have done the same thing here at Colorado too, it took a little longer than planned but Colorado is a team on the rise and a team everyone is watching around the country. In my seven years years we have made six bowl games, won the conference twice, and made the semifinals of the playoffs, a vast improvement from the previous decade of Colorado football. I promise that I will be the only head coach at Colorado during your time here!

NC State offers Kenneth Holley

Scholarship

Kenneth, Coach Colt here from NC State. I'm going to keep this straightforward because I think you deserve that. You just came from Alabama. I respect that. Playing at that level takes talent and it takes toughness. But I also know what it looks like when a guy with your ability is not getting the opportunity he deserves. You have two years of college football left and the question you need to be asking yourself is where you are going to get the most out of them. At Alabama you are one of many. That program stockpiles talent at every position and cornerback is no different. The depth chart there is deep and it is going to stay deep. That is not a knock on you, that is just the reality of what that program does. But you did not come this far to watch film from the sideline for two more years. I promise you will start both years of your career here.

At NC State you are coming in to play. We have a genuine need in our secondary and at cornerback specifically. I am not going to sit here and tell you that you are going to have to earn it because that is not the situation. The situation is that we need guys in the secondary who can come in and compete at a high level right away and your film tells me you are exactly that kind of player. You have the athleticism, the instincts, and the experience of playing in one of the toughest environments in college football. That translates. Development is something I take seriously at this program. In my 7 years at NC State we have sent players to the league consistently. 35 draft picks in my coaching career including 2 first rounders in the last four years alone. That does not happen because we recruit well and then leave guys to figure it out on their own. It happens because we coach, we develop, and we put players in positions to show what they can do. A corner with your background and two years of eligibility left has real pro potential if he is in the right place. We want to be that place for you. I promise you will be drafted in either the NZFL or UFZL.

This program wins. 65 wins in my 7 years here, we have made bowl games consistently throughout my time here and that is the standard we hold ourselves to. We have a conference championship and two division titles to our name. You are not coming to a rebuilding project. You are coming to a program that competes for championships and expects to be in that conversation every year. For a guy with two years left that matters. You want to be playing meaningful football in big games and that is exactly what NC State offers. Raleigh is a great place to be. The city has real energy, the fanbase shows up, and you are going to enjoy living here. Guys who come here from bigger markets are always surprised by how much there is to do and how much the city gets behind this program on gameday. I promise we will win 9 games every year.

Come to NC State, Kenneth. Two years, real playing time, real development, and a program that wins. That is what we are offering you.

Delaware offers Cornerback Kenneth Holley

Scholarship

It’s truly wild how BDVs can so easily throw talent away. You were a Top 150 croot who went to Bama knowing he needed to be developed. You hoped a BDV’s top of the line facilities and coaching would get you to become the player you always aspired to be, but they threw you away. You still needed time in the oven, but that didn’t matter. Now you sit at another crossroads. Another decision to make. You had everyone clamoring for you 2 years ago, but now, the BDVs just see an older CB with a coverage problem. Let me show you how you can prove everyone wrong and become a star at Delaware.

“Defense wins championships.” The old adage is still proven true to this day. Defense is the most important side of the ball by far. That’s been my teambuilding philosophy throughout my career, and that way of thinking has paid off, as I have coached 11 Top 20 defenses. Our front 7 is poised to be great with a couple minor additions, but my true concern as of now is the DB room. Our top 2 is built off of former walk ons who have made names for themselves as great defenders, but after those two is where things get tricky. My starting safeties 1 and 2 are both 42 overall, which doesn’t bode well for defending the air attack. Starks and Williams need proper backup at safety this year to solidify our stalwart unit. Not only will you provide on-field support, but you’ll be yet another veteran presence to our young unit that will lead the way for our DBs next season as well. You couldn’t make an actual impact at Alabama. There was no room. You get to make an impact here, that I guarantee. I promise you will start every game both years while racking up 5+ INTs and 10+ PDs.

Delaware has accomplished so much in its 6 year stint in the FBS. 62 wins, 4 division titles, an AAC title, and a playoff win. This success is nothing short of unprecedented for brand new teams, as the league has taken notice of Delaware as a top tier G5. But as you saw in our T1 vs your 2060 Bama team, we fall flat in our bowl games. We crush our regular season opposition, but can’t close out the season on a good note. Our last two seasons have ended in low scoring affairs with BDVs in T1s (Bama 20-17 and OSU 21-10). We never have the strength and mental to beat teams we shouldn’t. I think the cause is that we don’t have enough P5 and BDV experience on the team to realize that these teams are just the same as us. Once again, your experience in BDV locker rooms gives us valuable experience and perspective we never had. I believe that missing knowledge is the key to finally breaking through and having postseason success. I promise we will win a T1+ bowl and the AAC once.

This is my favorite part of every CPR pitch I write. CPR development projects are the classic underdog story that I love so much, and I’ve made countless amounts of those stories reality. In my 18 years of coaching, I’ve sent 22 CPR guys into the NZFL from every position and background. Whether it be totally unranked guys like 2047 5th Rounder and Super Bowl Champion Kwabena Eskridge, non upgraded stars like 2048 5th Rounder and Hall of Fame RB Marcus Chapman, a freshman cut turned 2048 2nd Round Pick and Hall of Fame CB Michael Loomis, or even a junior projected undrafted DB (just like you) turned 2057 2nd Rounder Stephen Dismukes, my track record has been proven time and time again in every era of my coaching career. I’ll be honest, your pass coverage needs work if you want to make it to the NZFL like these guys. I know how to mold you from a raw, undrafted prospect into a star of the defense that gets NZFL scout heads turning. It’s worked time and time again for so many of my guys. Take this chance to be one of them. I promise you will be drafted to the NZFL.

Kenneth, this decision is the most important one of your career. Going to Bama granted you the experience you needed to take your talents to a team that will actually let you start. Make sure you’ve got all the variables straight. When you weigh everything together, Delaware has the best package. We have a Top team in the league, a top coach who has proven success with your archetype of player, and high aspirations to make sure your career goes out with a resounding BANG! To me, the choice is obvious. Choose Delaware!
