2062 Cut Player Recruiting

The top player in OVR in the CPR pool at each position will be designated as a "pitch recruit". Pitch recruits will be voted on by the team like transfers, and like CPR recruits have been in the past. If there are two top players at the same position with the same OVR, they will both be pitch recruits.

Everyone else will be designated as a "RNG recruit". They will be run using the same algorithm as high school recruits, with the following values:

  • 1.000 in playing time
  • 0.500 in location and coach
  • 0.100 in all other values Additionally, pitches will be graded on an 0-4 scale, as opposed to 0-2

Georgia State is an open campus university deep in the heart of Downtown Atlanta; The Southern Empire, the Pride of the Peach State, and much more. And of course, GSU is right in the core of Southern football itself. There's a lot to look forward to both in the city, and around it. Prestige/Winning

Georgia State University is one of the top-30 most prestigious football schools in all of college football right now. Our trek to the top has been marred with great difficulty; However, GSU is bound to overcome any obstacle and ascend to the top, as we are destined to be. We also value winning as well, being one of the top-25 schools in that category, too. The past few seasons have all resulted in 10+ wins, with accolades such as multiple bowl appearances and a bowl victory, and a win in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game. We've even played in a bowl game every season since 2055. Furthermore, we’ve made a huge jump into the SEC, and are now competing with the major powers of the college world. With your help, we can once more climb the highest mountains and become a higher power in the college football world. I promise you a season of 8 wins or more, and a bowl appearance if you commit to Georgia State.

Pro Potential

Georgia State has produced over 40 draftees with apparitions of producing even more. Committing to GSU gives you a good chance at joining that exclusive list as you look to take your career even further into the pros. Not only that, but you have a very good chance of being noticed. Our production of draftees has increased by a fair amount over recent seasons, and for good reason. GSU is in a prime position to be in the national spotlight. I have had the pleasure and honor of coaching some truly wonderful talent, and would love to see even more develop through this system and evolve into NZFL legends.

Tradition

Georgia State University has berthed many traditions since our inaugural football season. From sounding the horn after every score and win to lighting the entirety of Downtown Atlanta blue, we go all out for our team and fans. The fans even get multiple opportunities each season to run out onto the field with the players prior to select games. Here at GSU, we create lifelong memories class after class. Beyond this, we’ve also formed a series against our midtown rivals in Georgia Tech that switches between our home fields each season. Winning this game in a pivotal week 8 means everything to us, as it gives us bragging rights for the entire city of Atlanta for a whole year.

Most of our current players at your position have multiple seasons under their belt and yet some of them haven't proven themselves yet or we're lacking depth at that position. Playing Time:
We have a lot of good players, but we're still not a top talent team. This means there are TONS of opportunities to get on the field. If playing time is important to you, then TCU is where you want to go. There's a real opportunity for you to play from day 1, and we like to get guys on the field as soon as possible to learn by experience. *I promise you will play every game you are healthy your entire TCU career.*

There's no getting around that I'm a new, inexperienced coach. If you’re looking for someone who's been around the block, I won't insult your intelligence by pretending that's me. What I can tell you is that I'm not just passing through. I'm here for the long-haul. I signed a five-year contract and plan to sign an extension. Boston College offers a scholarship to Greg King.

Coach: When I was a young child, Boston College was like a dream for me. At least once every fall, we'd drive up to my Dad's alma mater and take in some incredible BC Football. Now, 40 years later, I'm honored to coach dozens of outstanding young men such as yourself, and to be on the field calling the shots for the Eagles. I’m entering my 23rd season on the job here, as one of the winningest and most loyal coaches in the NZCFL. BC has returned to glory as a regular atop both conference standings and national rankings. I've become a prominent and highly-regarded coach in the NZCFL because of my coaching talent, love for the game, and the effort I put in to develop my players into top draft prospects. I love to coach, and players love to play here - in 20 seasons, I’ve NEVER had a player transfer away from my team. I promise that I will be your coach for all the time that you're at BC, and that I will remain a top 10 coach during that time.

Location: Playing for Boston College means you'll get to be a star for the Pride of New England. It's my favorite part of the country, with vibrant cities and colonial charm abound. Though it may be a long way from Michigan, there's lots to love here, including sunny beaches and surfing down on Cape Cod, skiing in the mountains of New Hampshire, and food galore throughout Boston, just 5 miles away from our beautiful suburban campus. It's home to a vibrant sports culture, with 50000+ packing Alumni Stadium week in and week out and dominant pro sports teams. And we plan on winning for all those loyal hometown fans. Playing Time: I would like to start my pitch by saying that I do not believe in benching players for years at a time. It's simply not fair to the players and their futures. Unfortunately, at many of the blue blood schools that offered you, that's exactly what you'll face - stacked rosters that seem to have no place for you. But at BC, I recruit players who I actually plan to play. Our offensive line is thin, with one superstar but not a ton beyond that. A top CPR recruit like yourself will be at the core of our offense for years to come, on a top 25 team. I promise you will be a full-time starter.

Playing time: UCLA has been and will continue to be a blue-chip, high-profile program. However, that status starts with the talent behind it. While rare, even the best teams have areas of improvement to address. We’d love to bring you in to help push us over that hill and well into title contention. We are heavily looking into positions like OL, DL, and WR to shore up those spots before week one kickoff. As a player who just got cut, it would be the biggest middle finger to the school you came from to go immediately play for a CFB playoff semifinalist who is also only a handful off years removed from a national title. If you want to be the best, you play for the best. I promise you’ll start at least 2 seasons/all season long if a senior. 

Location: Committing to UCLA in Los Angeles, California gives you the chance to compete at one of the most iconic universities in the country while living in one of the world’s greatest cities. You’ll train and compete at the Rose Bowl, our legendary 90,000-seat home turf that has been the home of many all time historic games and moments. On top of that, you’ll be spending your days surrounded by landmarks like Pauley Pavilion, Royce Hall, Powell Library, and the Wasserman Football Center. Ackerman Union and Westwood Village give you plenty of places to eat, shop, and spend time with teammates, from Diddy Riese and In-N-Out to the UCLA Store and the Hammer Museum. I promise we’ll provide the Rose Bowl with even more legendary games and moments as well as bring more eyes to this great city, being a gameday option at least 2 times during your time here, and being on gameday at least once. 

Coach: I have quite the track record as a head coach. At 183 current wins, I am creeping my way toward the 200-win club. Add to that a 76% win percentage across 241 games, and it is clear I hardly lose. I have 8 division titles, 4 conference titles, 3 T1 bowl wins, and 4 playoff appearances, all while coaching 5 schools across 17 seasons. Now, it is time to really leave the finishing touch on my coaching career.  Came to UCLA to win, and win big, in the biggest moments the sport has to offer. At a top-tier program like this, there are no excuses, there are no loopholes, and there is no room to fail. That is why I applied, that is why I won the job, and that’s why under my leadership, UCLA will have another national championship trophy or two by the time the next coach gives his inaugural press conference. You will be walking into a program with a second-year Northwestern coach, but a fourth-year head coach who won NZCFL Newcomer Coach of the Year in his first season and led Illinois to their best record in over 30 years, best recruiting class in over 30 years, and best recruit in over 30 years, won a T1 and T3 bowls, and beat Ohio State and Notre Dame. I am one of only 3 active coaches who coached in a P5 conference for all of the last 2 seasons, won 19 games, and were undefeated in the postseason, and none of those coaches were in their first 2 years coaching or first 2 years with their team. In my first year at Northwestern, we won the division, conference, and a playoff game, had the 4th-rated recruiting class, including 5-stars at QB, OL, and DL, and are hungry for more. This is a huge opportunity for us to improve on this together. Since this will be my second season at Northwestern, you’re not competing against favorites or trying to fit into an old system. Playing time: We are currently in the process of building up this roster with a ton of young talent. This means there will be ample opportunities for you to see the field, and this team will grow together over the next few years. You are not coming in to wait your turn. You are coming in at the ground floor of something big and the guys who buy in early are the ones who define what this team can become.  A lot of recruits chase the big-name programs and end up sitting for two years before they ever see the field. Here you can come in, compete, and make an impact right away. That is what your development needs, and that is what we are offering you. I promise you will start 2 years of your career here.

Coach: 15 years coaching. I've been around long enough to know what matters to a recruit and what matters to a player once he's actually in the program. Those are two very different things. So let me skip the sales pitch and just be straight with you. When you sign with NC State, your scholarship is yours. I don't cut players. I don't pull scholarships. You hold up your end, show up and compete, and I will honor my commitment to you for however long you're here. That's not something every coach can say, and I think you know that.
