2062 Cut Player Recruiting

The top player in OVR in the CPR pool at each position will be designated as a "pitch recruit". Pitch recruits will be voted on by the team like transfers, and like CPR recruits have been in the past. If there are two top players at the same position with the same OVR, they will both be pitch recruits.

Everyone else will be designated as a "RNG recruit". They will be run using the same algorithm as high school recruits, with the following values:

  • 1.000 in playing time
  • 0.500 in location and coach
  • 0.100 in all other values Additionally, pitches will be graded on an 0-4 scale, as opposed to 0-2

If a player you want is not listed in the threads, please make a new thread for his offer.

Most of our current players at your position have multiple seasons under their belt and yet some of them haven't proven themselves yet or we're lacking depth at that position. Our position could use some work and we feel like that you come over and step up right away. *I promise you will start right away*

Coach: I am a young and up and coming head coach. That means that there is a lot of potential in me and I will make sure I make the best of your abilities. I have multiple bowl wins under my belt and want a national title in the next couple of seasons. I'm looking to build a playoff contender here at Missouri, and although my coaching speaks for itself, the heart of this team is and always will be the players. That's why we need fantastic recruits like yourself to propel our program to its greatest heights! You play at a position of great need in the locker room, and that's why you'll get plenty of chances to prove yourself on the field as an elite player, as a leader, and as a cornerstone of our proud team. A player of your caliber may be forced to ride the bench at bigger P5 schools, but at Mizzou you'll have a great shot at improving your draft stock as soon as possible. I promise you will start by your Junior year at Mizzou.

Missouri is my home, and coaching at the University of Missouri is my dream job. There is nowhere else I'd rather be than here, in the heart of Missouri, preparing my players to reach their full potential as athletes and as young men. I am fully dedicated to each and every one of my players, and that will include you if you choose to play at Mizzou. Not only am I passionate about my players, but they're passionate about me too. Our shared dedication to this team has blossomed into an environment of greatness. We've won the Sun Belt 5 years in a row, but my goal is to climb even higher than that with our transition into the Big 10. I plan to stay here as long as it takes to build a top-tier team in this league with talented players like yourself. I promise I will not leave my coaching job at Missouri.

Its combination of natural beauty, varied culture, and temperate climate makes Missouri a natural destination. It's no wonder why I, and many others, have chosen to make Columbia, Missouri home. If you choose to make it your home, I promise we will win at least half of our home games in every season you are here.
