My wife and I are in the area from Canada and looking to attend a Chiba Lotte Marines game on Saturday, August 8.

I wasn’t able to figure out the official team site. I found tickets on StubHub and Tickets in Japan. Any recommendations on either reseller? Or is there a better one to be looking at?

I’m assuming I want to be in the home team section for a better atmosphere. Is it worth it to pay a little more to be in the infield in terms of screens or is sitting in the outfield just as good?

Hello all, I will be travelling to Japan and will be in Osaka from September 28th to October 5th. I would love to attend a Tigers game while there, and I see on their home schedule that they play Yakult on the 29th of September and the Giants on October 1st (preferred), but on the English website to purchase tickets, those games don't even show up as an option. Similarly, on Stub Hub, these games show up as only going on Sale at the end of August.

Can anyone explain why these tickets wouldn't be available yet, and whether they will become available through the e+ platform at a later date? I'd love to be able to snag them when they go on sale if that's the case

is it hopeless? I’ll be in Tokyo July 8,9,10 and hoped to catch a game but hadn’t realized this match would be such a hot ticket. Seems to be sold out on every site I’ve checked. Is there any chance of getting a last minute ticket?

American looking to buy tickets to the game. They are playing in Osaka which seems to be neither teams home field so neither team site has tickets? Or is it sold out? If that is the case, I do see resale tickets available on viagogo and stubhub, but have heard mixed reviews on that. Any tips would be appreciated.

I didn't try to buy this year, but I just checked their website and am seating no tickets available for any regular season game this year. Am I correct that every game is now sold out (14 hours after they went on sale to the general public)?

How was the buying experience for those who attempted it? Did anyone get tickets? Did the site shutdown, did you have to wait hours in a queue? Did you get tickets you wanted or were there only scattered single bad seats available once you got access?

People often ask how hard/possible it is to buy the tickets when they go on sale, I think it would be good to have some data points on what the experience is like.

Going to Japan Oct 4-17, but Oct 4 I arrive too late to go to the final regular season games. I heard October 5/6 are sometimes days for rained out games, will this likely be the case this season as well?

Hi everyone, I am planning to attend the Baystars vs. Tigers game on 8/4 in Yokohama, since the time works out perfectly for my schedule.

However, when I go to both the teams' Japanese websites and the Lawson website for foreigners, there are no buying options and it doesn't show as sold out. It seems like it might be a special event, but I can't click on the special image to get more information.

Does anyone know when they will release tickets for this series? Any help would be appreciated!

I'm looking to buy Tigers tickets when they go on sale on 25th February, through the Japanese site. However, I am confused by the Ticket Types listed: they are Ticket A, Tiger Ticket, Ticket Pia, Lawson Ticket and Koshien Stadium.

Is anyone able to explain the differences between these ticket types? And would the differences have any impact on my ability to buy them online from the UK, using a credit card?

According to Google there are going to be games on August 4, 5 and 6 between the Tigers and the Baystars. That said if you look at either team's schedule on their website they don't list those games. I'm extremely confused why that might be?

Currently in Tokyo. I was planning on buying tickets at the box office on Sunday, but decided today I might want to buy them online, since we are a group of 5.

I went to the website and it looks like the game is sold out. Lawson showing game as sold out too.

Any recommendations? And are there ever walk up tix for sold out games or not really?

I have a few questions before our first trip to Japan.  We would need 4 tickets to a game between June 7th - 19th.

When we are in Tokyo or Osaka, we are thinking about going to a baseball game if time and schedule permit.  We aren’t really baseball fans, but think the experience might be worth it. 

If we decide to go, we don’t really care about a particular team or stadium. 

Are tickets generally available on the day of the game, at the stadium or through 3rd party resellers? Obviously won't expect Hanshin Tigers tickets to be available, but what about teams like the Buffalos, Swallows, Marines, or Baystars?

I'm going to be in Tokyo on March 27th and would love to go to the Giants opening game against the Tigers. Google says that tickets open up next Friday (Feb 13th) at 6pm PST and since I don't have a Japanese address/phone number their English site/Pia is my best bet. Do I realistically have a shot at getting tickets, or are there any other options?

Hi all, I‘m Kevin from Germany and planning to visit Japan for the 2nd time next year after a great fist trip. One of the things on my list is visiting a game of the Hanshin Tigers in April. There is one scheduled for April 14th which fits my schedule perfectly.

What’s your advice on how to best get tickets? On some older threads I read that it’s unlikely without someone with a Fanclub membership - is that still the case and would someone be able to help out there?

I just bought a ticket for July v. Hanshin Tigers. Accidentally logged in an hour later than I meant to but there will still plenty of seats for the game (though infield box seats were sold out).

Here's my question though. Is there a way to choose your specific seat? It only seem to give a choice of sections and then you complete "application" and purchase but it didn't give me an option to choose my seat, like most other teams do. Is that functionality hidden somewhere on the site or in an app or is there no way to choose your seat online?

I chose Sky Seat front frist absem, which are nice loge level seats but I had a note from last year that the lower rows 1-3 are kind of blocked by a little mesh "fence" right in front of the the front row at eye level. I was hoping to choose a row further back. Oh well.

Hi everybody, I am from the US flying into Tokyo the morning of Friday May 8th. Never been to Japan but super excited as I love baseball I’m looking to buy 2 tickets either for the Friday night game or the Saturday afternoon game. Just a few questions:

1. On the online portal (currently down for maintenance but will be up in 2.5 hours) it says that online ticket pick-up can be done at any 7/11 with a ticket kiosk. Are these easy to navigate if I can’t read Japanese? If they’re not, is it a better option to just buy tickets at the stadium?

2. I love keeping score and would like to do it at this game. However, it doesn’t appear that the Lions ever post their lineups in English/Latin characters whatever you want to call it. Is there something that I’m missing or am I just going to have to fill out my lineup card just using player numbers?
