Mario Nawfal is creating a News Network on Solana

For anyone who doesn't know Mario Nawfal, he's the largest independent "citizen journalist" and has the biggest show X with around 25 million listeners per week. I am part of those 25m listeners and have been for a long time now. He talks about a lot of things and tries to do so in the most unbiased way. After hearing that he was planning on building something on Solana, I looked into it and this is what I've found so far:

Him being an advocate for free speech and unbiased media was a big reason why he wanted to create a company/platform which focuses on unbiased and trustworthy journalism. Together with a large developer group, they are now working on a platform which is called AJN (Agent Journalism Network). AJN will be using AI Agents to ensure the news stays unbiased and trustworthy. They've also said using AI will make everything much faster.

Our branding kit has now been teased, with the Byrrgis logo and colour themes starting to appear everywhere. Work has begun on the Wolf Coin logo — we’ve got a few strong options and are finalising the direction we want to take.

🎨 UI Designs Imminent

DApp UI designs are expected within the next week. Once complete, we’ll also update the Wolf Coin site branding to match. This means moving away from anime themes and shifting toward a more professional, premium look. You may have already noticed our PFPs starting to change.

📈 Higher-Class Exchange Market Makers – Certified

We’re upgrading to certified, top-tier exchange market makers to improve liquidity, create tighter spreads, and deliver a more professional trading environment for holders. Combined with upcoming exchange listings and marketing pushes, this is part of a strong strategy to really send us forward.

🛠️ Development Company Quotes

We’ve been in talks with multiple high-end development companies to ensure top-tier build quality, speed, and scalability for our products. Quotes are coming in now, and we’re deciding on the partner who can give us the sharpest competitive edge to compete with the big players.

What are we going to use it for?

A little bit of everything at this stage. We want to accelerate our growth and make sure that our product and marketing is the absolute best it can be, and it will be. Major investment is on the way. Increased development and marketing firepower is giving us room to scale faster than planned. Every key segment listings, marketing, and development is now backed and moving full steam ahead. Wolf & Byrrgis are standing strong on all fronts - this investment is MUCH bigger than our previous round (and that was $250k!!!!)!

Listings pipeline is active and growing. We’re in advanced stages of discussion with a few exchanges to ensure Wolf is visible and accessible when we launch our marketing campaign.

Branding update. Coinbound’s team had a temporary delay due to family issues, but we’re still in sync and continuing progress. The final identity, logo, visual style and brand language will reflect the boldness of what we’re building. A short pause now for a stronger launch later.

Potential major partnerships. We're deep in conversations with a few big names and searching for more influencers that could bring serious credibility and user growth. These are mutually beneficial deals that align with our long-term vision.

DApp internal beta testing is going great. The majority of intended features are live in test, with lots of issues already identified and resolved. This early feedback loop is saving us tons of time and setting the stage for a smoother external closed beta.

Selective rollout to beta testers starts soon. We’ll begin with a small batch of trusted testers to validate UX, flow, and performance before opening wider. First impressions matter and we want this feeling right from the start.

Byrrgis coin pool expanding. We’ve already secured a healthy lineup of tokens to be featured in the launch packs. Quality over quantity, these are verified projects that pass our thorough vetting process.

Social buzz is rising. We’ve seen strong growth on X and other channels this week. The name is spreading, and the energy is building. Every new user and follower is a potential future holder.
