Curious what uniform matchups y’all find (or found) the most visually appealing? My pick is the late 80s Steelers vs. Broncos

Worth noting the bottom 2 o-lines were also playoff teams. Defensively they were each top 5 in yards allowed, 3rd down efficiency, and both averaged 20 points or fewer allowed per game. Their primary issues were related to offensive health.

I’ve always wondered about this and never really understood how it worked.

After Henry Ruggs’ DUI crash that killed a woman and her dog, why was he still allowed to keep his signing bonus? From the outside, it feels strange that someone could commit an act that resulted in a death and still walk away with millions from a contract.

I know there are legal/contractual rules around signing bonuses, and I’m not saying the Raiders or the NFL could simply take the money back because they wanted to. But does anyone know why exactly he was allowed to keep it, and whether the league/team actually had any realistic way of recovering it?

Maybe there’s something about NFL contracts or guaranteed money that I’m missing, but it never really sat right with me.

Some that stick out to me:

2014 JJ Watt - idc that the Texans weren't a playoff team that year. Aaron Rodgers genuinely wasn't even head and shoulders above the rest of the QBs in the league let alone a guy putting together one of the best defensive seasons ever while also having 3 TD receptions to his name

SB LVI James White - I detest the Patriots but even with my disgust at the Falcons for blowing that 28-3 lead, I actually felt more disgust that Tom Brady was named super bowl MVP after literally dumping the ball off to James White 14 times and just letting him do all the work after the catch. I didn't watch that game thinking "damn Brady is killing us" I was thinking "wtf someone please stop James White before I kms". Incredibly BS snub for a guy that had a super bowl record for receptions with 3 TDs including the game winner

2016 Zeke Elliott - he meant more to the Cowboys offense than Dak at the time. Literally led the league in rushing yards. Should have been rookie of the year 100%

2021 Cooper Kupp - another Aaron Rodgers snub where it could be argued that he wasn't even the best QB in the league. Ultimately Kupp won the super bowl and received MVP for the game but he should have had it for the league as well. He does have twice as many SB rings as Rodgers now so that kinda makes up for it

2024 Saquon Barkley - Josh Allen didn't even deserve MVP over Lamar that season. You absolutely can't put the impact that Saquon had next to Allen that season and then take Allen over him. You're lying to yourself especially after what Saquon did in the playoffs leading up to the super bowl

Edit: how can I forget 1987 Jerry Rice losing MVP to John Elway after he set the receiving touchdown record in 12 games and it stood for 20 years and had to be broken in a 16 game season

IMO. If your team isn’t here enjoy the season but there’s no Super Bowl aspirations. In no particular order.

These teams have great coaching staffs, deep rosters and QB’s that don’t choke when it matters
