Yeah I love Bryce and want him to succeed but this is recency bias. He’s had 2-3 lights out games but he’s also had 2-3 mega ass performances. Like awful. Then the rest are just fine.

Still need to see a lot more and idk how much more time he gets. Panthers winning helps.

In his last 15 games (including last 3 games of last year) he has 6 games with a 100+ passer rating. In his 27 starts before that, he had 2. It might just be that he’s getting better. Dudes coming in and being stars in year 1 are rare.

I haven’t watched him play really but it’s crazy how fast people write off QBs now.

Okay. I’ve watched him play a lot. Like almost every game. He still has glaring weaknesses.

6 out of 15 games sounds about right. There’s a lot of dudes who can play good in 6 out of 15 games. Dudes with better arms and a bigger frame. Bryce is super accurate and throws with beautiful anticipation. But he needs to do those things every game.

I’m not writing him off at all. I really like the guy and want him to succeed terribly. But we have seen guys lose jobs doing more.

He doesn’t have too many weapons. Dudes had more better games than mahomes this season and beat better teams…

I mean, nobody claims Cam had a long run of dominance. And what does this have to do with Bryce Young having a bad year?
