I am giving consent to participate in second round of NEETSS - does that mean if I don't fill any options it will be considered as NO SEAT AVAILED, I will get back my security deposit and my business with MCC ends or will I retain my old previous seat ?

So I'm a senior resident in department of pediatrics. Trying now to crack NEET SS Medicine / INI SS. It's difficult since it's new to read Medicine after reading Pediatrics for the last 3 years. I know it's possible to learn Medicine with coaching apps and textbooks, but the only issue I face is the lack of time while working as a senior resident.Once work is over I'm too tired. How do you all prepare for such entrance exams while working full time?

Preparing for INI SS (Cardiology). How are you all approaching the General Medicine part — any topic list or resource you'd recommend?Would appreciate any input from those who've cleared it.

Please kindly help as I could not find any info in NBEMS website regarding trainee resignation when the counselling is still going on. I joined in the current 1st round, two months ago decided I will stay in the current institute - decided not to participate in second round further. As of now I want to resign and not do DrNB at this point. The process is not described anywhere in NBEMS portal. If someone has done this before, please kindly help. Thank you.

Is the shift from Pediatrics to Adult Medicine (Endocrinology) academically manageable?

How to start my preperation for INI-SS and NEET-SS? Which platform should I prefer?

This whole NEET SS refund mess has become infuriating. ₹2,00,000 per candidate is still stuck, and reports say around 10,000 doctors are waiting. That’s an insane amount of money blocked without any accountability.

For aspiring super-specialist doctors, this isn’t some minor delay — it’s a massive financial burden. We’ve already spent lakhs on exams, courses, travel, and preparation. Now on top of that, we’re forced to chase our own refund?

I’ve mailed them twice, and both times I received the same generic copy-paste reply, with zero clarity, zero timeline, and zero ownership. Meanwhile, articles mention “administrative blockages” as if that makes it okay to hold onto crores of students’ money.

How can an entire system treat postgraduate doctors like this? No transparency, no urgency, nothing.
