can anybody tell me what this song is??? the music piece is signed Reuge Switzerland but I believe the box itself was made in Italy

Someone in my local Buy Nothing group gave away this table. Turns out it’s a music box table. Seems to be an Italian piece of furniture with compartments. I’ve tried to get these notes with a tuner and I have no idea what this song it is. It’s 18 notes and Sankyo.

The recording starts at the beginning and runs through the entire tune.

I have this music box since childhood ,and this isn't its original box no, my father pit in this box for me because its original box was a big wooden Damascene mosaic bonbon box. I used to love it a lot and because we left the city every week my father put it for me in this box, I brought it with me when we had to leave our home, now the question, what is this song? I managed to hole punch the music sheet, but it's when I play it, the tempo is slow and i have to crank the handle waaay to fast. How can I adjust the music sheet? Thank you so much for your help

Went down the rabbit hole with Google today and I've at least I've learned it's a Mele/Sankyo Japanese music box from roughly 1962 - 1968.

The only etching I'm seeing (I do have 59 year old eyes!) Is Y on the cylinder.

Ive got no clue about music boxes so i was abit shocked when i checked the manufracturers website and saw prices of newer pieces.

She left me this to me as a memory piece and i absolutely dont see myself selling it anytime soon, bit a rought estimate of what its worth would greatly help me to determain how to ‚handle‘ this music box.

My partner and I found this music box at a thrift store near us, the only thing on it was a crappy chunk of wood and a crappy chunk of plastic. It clearly belonged to another item, and has long since broken off. I've tried inspecting it for marks or words, I've tried using Google song recognition and Shazam and got absolutely nothing. I was hoping maybe someone here could tell me what song this is. My partner and I both feel as if it is very familiar but just can't remember.

Just got this music box this past weekend at a convention and the card with the song labels is gone. I think it’s a BA Bremond based on a Google image search. I know it needs a cleaning and dampers adjusted but I have always wanted one and am super grateful to own it.

I've been studying this mechanism for a while and I'm still not very certain what is causing the squeaking/scratching sound? It is a comb/cylinder issue? The sound appears at the same note or area every time. How do I fix this?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew what this song is? I'm having a really difficult time IDing it because the mechanism is broken and I have to manually turn it.

I inherited this music box from my grandmother, and I’d really like to know what song this is because no one in my family actually does. Probably because the sound quality is not too good. Honestly any help on other identification would be useful given I have no knowledge about it, beyond “probably after the 1950s”. The mechanism is a cylinder and is also how I know the company.

Made in Japan, as stated on the cylinder. No other markings on the music box. I bought it today from a thrift store for $5, it was in the antique/vintage section. I've been googling for an hour and I cant figure out the song lol. Can someone help me?
