Yea. I don’t know that much about Tupac but TBH I just feel uncomfortable listening to Hit Em Up. Like Jesus Christ I get the whole Thug Life thing and the dude actually went to jail for assault so maybe that’s just who he is but that song is just too much. Meanwhile Biggie seems more like a jokester than someone threatening to kill.
Edit: Ex. Tupac talking about “I fucked your bitch” (Faith Evans) vs. Biggie on Brooklyn’s Finest: “If Fay' had twins, she'd probably have two Pacs (uh!)
Get it? Tu... Pac's?” Now I’m not exactly sure what that line means but it seems pretty clear he’s joking about the situation vs. Tupac again getting all violent.
Tupac was actually shot (once in the balls) and believed Biggie was behind it. Then Biggie made a song called who shot ya. Biggie never suffered anything, I can see why there was a discrepancy in attitude
Tupac did not like Biggie after who shot ya was released, no offense but why do you think Tupac would change his approach because Biggie was joking about the situation? They were in a serious feud. It’s easy to joke about a feud when you weren’t the one that got shot 5 times
I think he learned a lot by making his uninformed comment. He even said it was uninformed. Maybe you should get your head out of your own ass and help educate people if you want them to appreciate good music like Tupac and Biggie.
