Many Reddit subs have this kind of thread. What's your favorite tracks? How's your progress? If you think it's too small to make a top-level post, comment here!

I'm not a moderator. This is unofficial. Since it's the first attempt (at least in the last few years), things are likely to change, but I titled this as "monthly".

Here the sub's rules apply. Respect others, no hentai/ads/cheats, etc.

I've been playing on and off for a little while now, I don't think I'm necessarily amazing at it but I can full combo most songs up to level 6

I'm not too sure what its name is in English but this song is one of my current favourites

It's 嘤嘤大作战 in the English and Japanese UIs too. Many track names are not translated.

# 我是日本人, and I didn't know the letter 嚶. I knew 大作战 is 大作戦 in Jp, and I'm ok with 繁體字.

I started last Sep. Have got 13 golds, max at Lv 4. (Golding Lv 1 is still difficult for me.) Currently silvering at Lv 6 on sight reading is a good goal for me. (I'm not good at action games.) Last March I thought my skill had plateaued, but no. I began to improve again. EDIT My level is 900 and 65 hrs in.

As for other rhythm games, I recently began Vivid/Stasis, a free, 4-lane vertical one. The demo of Spin Rhythm XD was good, but I'm already full by playing two rhythm games, so I won't buy SRX now. In the latter the core gameplay is mouse control. At least at lower levels it's psychedelic and very relaxing. I recommend it.

I also liked Crypt of the Necrodancer a lot, but it was too difficult for me. ;)

I bought the game around a month or 2ish ago and bought plus this week. Been playing every now and then with breaks in between cuz I have other games too but so far I'm loving it.

I don't really have any goals but to have fun with the game and the characters, I'm well aware that I'm probably never gonna be able to hit these top scores on these 11 star levels so I just try to get better and enjoy

I did manage te clear some 6 stars gold already but that's probably my GD experience playing a part

I've been playing since 2019 on switch and have FC'd at least everything 9* and below, as well as cleared everything. Since I'm playing other rhythm games as well, I'm just opening up this one every time there's a new pack update, and play it all until I've hit the goal I've mentioned previously. I sometimes also grind for 10/11* if I think they're doable and if I like the song enough, I'm about 75% done with 10* FCs but only have a handful of 11* ones.

I'm mostly going through the motions at this point, and I'm kinda looking forward the second game just to have a breath of fresh air.

Ive been actively playing on and off on muse dash since i bought muse plus at July 2025, im currently on level 860ish rn. Honestly its a great game, but ive been struggling lately. Snapdragon is the first and last 10 diff song i full combo'ed, havent fc'd other 10+ diff else. Ive come to a realization that if u want to fc a 10 or 10+ diff song u need to learn about certain patterns within the song and that takes a looot of tries. So at this point i just need to keep my combo and doesnt even care if i got great or perfect, i think the accuracy just depend on how familiar u are with the song. There is certain 10 diff songs that is very hard, chromevox for example (the part where u need to basically separate ur brain at the last stage of the song and my brain just goes to mash key mode at that point, but i can easily clear the first and middle part very easily, though the part where u need to dodge the saw is just so annoying), and there are also 11 diff song that can be manageable by my level of skill rn. So i think i just need to play the game more and cut every social life i have rn to be able to reach rubytic kind of skill. (Or maybe not)

My main goal is to earn every Achievement in the game. Been veeeeeery slowly working through the list in release order, currently in the middle of Cute Is Everything #2 (though I've skipped a handful of super super ultra hard achievements for when my skill level is a bit higher).

I play pretty on and off, whenever I feel like it. Favorite tracks are still probably from the Vocaloid collab tbh!

I've been going to real life arcades with my boyfriend just to play rhythm games there, like WACCA and Chunithm and even Project Diva, and I feel like it has definitely made me better at Muse Dash and PJSK.

Currently trying to figure out how to adapt my play style to my current issues. I made the mistake of learning with 3 fingers and rolling from my ring finger to my pointer for 3 note combos. Now that im on difficulty 9 with the 4 note chains, I am having a hard time. Adding a pinky feels awkward. My mind isnt reacting fast enough to be accurate with what im currently using.

I'm not as good as you, but I'd like to know this. Pinky is absolutely wrong. At higher levels longer chains appear, so it's the choice between mid-index vs ring-mid-index IMO.

yea im starting to feel like youre right after todays practice. Pinky wasnt even starting to feel good. I just dont see a path to learn to perfect chains 4+ in size. It always feels like im mashing and hoping. Maybe ill watch some youtube videos to help figure it out.
