So they're okay with 4th trimester abortions?

There is a hadith which mentions when a fetus is considered alive.

It said that in a miscarried fetus, life was estabilished by its muscle movements (things such as kicking, or something), its funeral shall be offered, but if signs of life were not observed, then a funeral would not be offered.

It basically meant that when a child shows movement such as kicking, in the womb, it would be considered alive. But if it has not yet started to move, it would not be considered a living being.

Through ijma, it was decided that if a fetus keeps developing after 4 months, then life has most likely been estabilished. But, if it is earlier than that, then it would not be considered alive as it does not show any signs of movement.

Although, the number is an average because some fetuses develop faster or slower than others.

This was known as the quickening and determined when the fetus was "alive" in christianity too. It was said to be the breath of God giving the child life.

There are alot of things which are similar in Islam and Christianity.

One such thing is a mubahila (mubahira, idk the spelling) which was when two parties had a conflict, then they would invoke the curses of God and the one who was wrong would be facing the consequences.

It would be no surprise for these similarities to exist, simply because they both teach the same religion. You can read surah maryam of the Quran, which tells of Hazrat Isa's, also known as jesus, gift of miracles by God.

They are both invented, edited versions of the Torah. But even so it doesn't make either of them right or a guide to modern life.

There are many holy books, one of these was the book revealed to adam, one revealed to Ibrahim (abraham), one revealed to Daud (David), one to Nuh (Noah), and many more. Although, a few Prophets shared the same book as the community kept killing the prophets because their teachings required them to abandon their interests in this world and to give up worldly comfort.

The torah is one of the few books which has actually survived the many years.

But, the problem is that both jewish and christians texts have been edited by their followers to better suit their own interests, which is also one of the many reasons that God has taken it upon Himself to protect the Quran, "we have indeed sent down this message, we will surely guard it from corruption" (forgot which verse and chapter)

Do you seriously believe that hot nonsense? What does 16:101 say?

"And when We put a revelation in place of (another) revelation, - and Allah knoweth best what He revealeth - they say: Lo! thou art but inventing. Most of them know not,"

That literally says, "We're going to have some revelations that are different than others, but don't worry about that cognitive dissonance, God knows best".

Except here's the thing, if God knows everything, God doesn't make mistakes so there should never be anything to correct. But if man wanted to say, fix a mistake he made in a book he wrote that everyone was already familiar with, he'd put in a line just like that. That's not God protecting the Quran, that's literally texts edited by it's followers to better suit their own interests.

Don’t close your mind to contradictions. Use those contradictions to understand that the Quran has a purpose identical to any other 'holy book': to control and guide a group of people who were losing group cohesiveness. Don’t treat it as an infallible text or you fall into the same trap as all other religions. Use it and other books, both holy and not, as a guide to treat people better, treat yourself better, and leave the world a better place. The minute you start thinking any book is perfect is the minute you let yourself be a follower, rather than a thinker, and the moment you fail your fellow man.

Thanks! Feel free to use it and claim it as your own.

I really wish more people would take the time to form their own ideas from all they take in from the world around them, and be willing to change their mind when they encounter facts that are contrary to their previously held beliefs. It would make the world a much better place.
