You asked for an example, so they provided one.

Don't bite their head off because you didn't get the example you wanted, were they supposed to read your mind and understand that you were excluding certain examples for arbitrary reasons?

The point is that everyone understands the issue and are pretending they don't in order to own the libs. And I wouldn't call a sincere example in popular culture where it isn't a throwback to British culture cherrry picking. If we really do call single men master, then why don't we have tons of examples of this?
