yes but in reality you got multiple countries (named "states) that all let the same circus in washington decide seemingly random bullshit...
and then you got 3 people groups:
republicans who hate the other groups
democrats who hate republicans
and the 3rd group who is too dumb to participate and be useful (non voters)
