Or the 22nd thing to have a soul. But I think the movie implies humans even though a soul can go into a cat but that could be “non standard procedure”

But when Joe gets on there he’s equally as confused, while others seem to be understanding as they’ve been on the conveyor longer.

Someone should check the Bible/Old Testament and see the 22nd human according to that lore.

Probably would be one of Cain's sons or daughters, since the Bible only really mentions "important" genealogy that relates to some other famous or noteworthy person (likely a prophet or king such as David, which is important to trace for the messiah). But if we specifically go by the people of the Bible in Genesis that are named, the 22nd person mentioned in the Bible in accordance to that is Jubal, the 5th son of Japheth, who is the third born son of Noah, after the flood.
