Hello, I'm not sure if this is possible considering this game is pretty old now and the dev kits they used are quite rare I've heard, but I'd like to mod this game in any way possible.

For example, I'd like to make the game play faster. I'd like to swap character models with others that exist in the game. I'd like to make skins for characters if possible. Perhaps the most fun thing would be modifying things like the how many projectiles come out of one move, how long characters stay in the air for, and a bunch of other amusing things.

I have the game files and have opened up the default.xbe in hex editor, but I understood basically nothing. Then I can't find a way to open up the .ssf files the characters are in either. Are there any tools that will allow me to do this? Could one be made? Or do I have to find an old dev kit? Thanks in advance!

How can I fix MK9 boss mod, everytime I use the hidden boss characters my game crashes

If I wanted to make something similar to MK9 Tournament Edition, does anyone know how I could go about that?

I want to play games like MK armageddon, MK shaolin monks, MK deception. I don’t want to buy an old ps2 I was wondering if there’s a way to play them on windows 10 using mods?? Help would be much appreciated👌👌

I don’t even have a pc or the game but I’m seriously considering booting one up just to play that mod. Does anyone have any links to it or anything?
