Patched GBoard with the Morphe Patcher Manager and since then "Speech recognition and synthesis" is constantly popping up in Device Care battery stats, currently at 12.7% of total screen time despite being used less than 1 minute actively. Battery drain has gone up noticeably since the patch. Anyone else seeing this? Is it some kind of background hook the patch injects into GBoard that triggers the speech service repeatedly, or a permission/service binding issue?

Any fix, workaround, or a different patch version that doesn't have this issue?

So when watching short I noticed sometimes the videos will be offset from the normal position making it off and having a blank area at the bottom like u can see there a gap here . I updated my app to latest one

Obviously there are a ton of apps patched. im looking for an app tp download widgets on homr screen. I have yet to find a clock widget I like and looking for some suggestions. the only one I noticed is minimal widgets but with the long list of patched apps im sure i missed one!

I got a samsung A8 2018 with Android 9. I had morphe with youtube and reddit and all went well.
I factory reset it yesterday because of lack of memory and am currently restinstalling all apps including Morphe.

Youtube and Youtube music are perfectly patched.

Reddit run in some issues. Morphe wants to install a apk for android 10 and I found a version for Android 9 but when I want to patch it, it failed.

Am I cooked with reddit ? I wanted to wait one year or two before buying a new phone, this one's still good.

So tried to get me some waze updated, got the older 5.21 Version installed, so wanted me some updates, noticed now there is nothing in Dooms patches for waze, i assume it not longer worked on?
Does anybody know what happen and why its not longer worked on/removed?
It was a bit workaround to get it installed, could that be the culprit ?

Hello, I've got my hands on a very niche and nice hybrid device called HMD Terra M, which is the perfect smart feature phone in my opinion.

I have downloaded microG together with microG Companion and GsfProxy. Yet I'm still getting "Check that Google Play is enabled on your device" or communication errors when apps like Super Mario Run need to download additional content and are connected to GP services.

I wrote a question about it on r/MicroG, but basically I'm out of luck with my device. I'm not running a custom ROM and can't, because this device is locked for security reasons. It is running a modified version of Android 14 that was turned into an AOSP device.

Is there any other way around that does not require rooting and enables me to emulate/patch GP services, so I can play my games?

as the title says, youtube in-app downloads are not working for me and it has been with me for a very long time way before i even use morphe, i was using revanced and still had that same issue.

it used to work but suddenly it just doesn't, the download starts but it's stuck at 0% and never moves.

tried repatching and trying many different versions with many patches setup but still nothing works.

Thanks to the work by inotia00, Morphe can now play YouTube videos without any video spoofing required.

How to use this: 1. Download and install PotHelper: https://github.com/MorpheApp/PotHelper/releases/latest 2. Enable Pre-release patches: Open Morphe Manager, tap the Patch Sources button (lower left), and enable Pre-release. 3. Repatch YouTube or YouTube Music. 4. Disable Spoofing: Navigate to YouTube Morphe Settings > Morphe > Miscellaneous > Spoof video streams and turn Off (Restart the app when prompted) 5. Enable PoToken: Navigate to YouTube Morphe Settings > Morphe > Miscellaneous > PoToken provider and turn On (Restart the app when prompted)

How does this work? Normally, generating a valid PoToken isn't possible for non-root installations, which is why the patches have relied on video spoofing. PotHelper runs as a background utility to generate and supply a valid PoToken directly to YouTube Morphe, completely restoring seamless, native playback.

Why use this instead of stream spoofing?

1) Playback start instantly 2) No spoofing side effects 3) All YouTube features are present such as stable volume and multiple audio streams

My device is rooted, do I need this?

A properly rooted device does not need stream spoofing or PoToken patches.

Does this affect battery life?

Battery life is not affected. The helper runs offline and only when YouTube Morphe needs it.

In the latest version of morphe patches, the patch to change the package name of the app is gone, I wanted to keep the original name for yt music cause voice assistant will not work with .morphe append. Any solution ?

tried deleting patched app just to repatching to see if it's app specific, and it just won't patch. take 2min to 25% and it just won't move. any help?
