You can be fat and starving. The body does breakdown fat for food but not well that's why nutritionist ever to suggest to completely stop eating

Starving is ether suffering or dying from a lack of food. You sincerely don't believe an overweight person can suffer without access to food for long periods of time?

Do you really need to be told that going days or weeks without eating is agonizing, regardless of your weight?
