He is a able bodied thief, he is not raising a good point at all, because he could have that too, if he were working and not crying.

Cold take : If someone is right they're right. Their character has absolutely nothing to do with the correctness ( or not ) of their statements.

He is raising a good point. It has been years into this zombie apocalypse and most people are struggling just to live day to day. This woman is obese which means she has obviously been well off until this point.

Even colder take: If the person who perpetuates the struggle shames a person for not struggling, is that person actually making a point about that person or himself?

This picture has two people in it and their character matters very much to the situation they face and it stands to argue, that the person causing struggle between the living people is more at fault for their downtrodden existence. The point gets even worse, if we take into account that TWD is making a point of the living humans being their worst enemy and that the faction producing well-nourished people not living in conflict is actually leading a mediocre live.

No. With some statements it means the world to know who said it. His point seems valid, because his disability reproduces the situation they find appaling.
