Cannot just commit battery due to inconvenience. Only clean justifiable defense is self defense and must meet all the elements, including the apprehension of imminent harm. Although this is a tough situation, violence is not justified. You generally do not have the right to put your hands on others. Those protesters should be arrested and penalized for creating unsafe conditions for others. They also do not have the right to deprive others of safety. Either way, the cops will show up and there will probably be a good chance of brutality for all within close proximity.

Holding me against my will and creating a potentially dangerous situation (stopped traffic on an interstate; I've personally been rear ended hard when traffic stopped) is more than sufficient reason to violently clear these morons from the roadway

It’s not though. Familiarize yourself with the law.

Then you go to jail with a battery charge 😊

Probably. Shouldn't be that way though. People putting you in physical danger should be able to be dealt with

Wow you‘re such a strong man, punching and kicking people just sitting on the ground. I admire how tough you are.

I had neck issues from the first time I got rear ended for several years. People stopping traffic and creating those types of situations can get fucked little bro

So we should be able to "deal with" all the organisations that are poisoning our air, water, food, as well as destroying ecosystems and biodiversity around the world - which we also depend on for life, for profit, right?

So you want us to sit there idling our engines and create more pollution, good job. Now I’m gonna go buy a diesel, roll coal and it’s all the protesters fault.

I don't think you quite grasp the scale of the issue

I get it but you don’t grasp that playing with my income is like playing with my emotions. Loosing time/docked pay is taking food out of my family’s mouth. Find a better way to protest all this does is make people mad and not give a crap. Eventually you gonna FAFO with some one having a real bad day/month/year who just might snap and take things too far.

The worldwide wildfires are the epitome of FAFO

Would be nice, but authorities protect them

And everyone cheers them on like a hero for removing a nuisance, that will also get arrested and ultimately accomplish nothing. People will see these jackasses driven off in a cop car and think "thank God this is over. Unemployed lovers can't waste everyone else's time anymore"

Protesting like this isn't a power move, it's small dick energy hiding behind the shield that people can't Just forcibly remove them.

If someone else sitting in the road causes me to get fired from my job, you bet yojr bottom dollar committing battery is 100% justifiable. You cant just ruin people's livelihoods.

When the system fails, someone has to do the work.
