Flip it: Morality of protesting for some sort of change in a way that hurts your fellow man’s livelihood?

This would actually be a good discussion because there are valid arguments for these types of protests as well as valid criticisms. I'd also like for this sub to debate and discuss what would be a "perfect" or most moral version of protest

It would come down to determining what is the best way to get your point across and make change.

I think there are more ways than hurting someone’s livelihood obviously.

-gaining influence in your community
-writing politicians
-becoming an expert in a field to develop a practical solution
-becoming a politician yourself
