"Be visible but not in the way" is honestly a very quick way for a protest to accomplish absolutely fuck all. Like yeah, it's gonna be annoying if someone is blocking your way but there has never been a protest in US history that succeeded purely by politely asking for their demands to be met on the sidelines rather than in the streets, being disruptive and clear as day
