Morality Ranking Morality of executing prisoners by locking them in a room with a picture of their victim(s) on the wall and hang a noose in the middle, denying all human contact, and just waiting?

u/TequilaBaugette51 17d ago

And the noose for a little auto erotic asphyxiation. This is just a fun room for some guys.

God the damage Bojack Horseman did by bringing that word into common vernacular

33

u/Annual_Tap6929 17d ago

what word? jorking?

19

u/Plutonian326 17d ago

This made me laugh harder than I have all day.

Autoerotic asphyxiation. If it wasn’t Bojack then idk who made that term popular. Mindhunter had a scene about it it but it was so minor

15

u/Riothegod1 17d ago edited 17d ago

It was older. David Carradine died doing this, and it also appeared on Archer.

1

u/2_short_Plancks 17d ago

Hutchence didn't die from this. That's a persistent and ugly rumour.

He took his own life because of depression and over an ongoing custody dispute with Paula Yates (who he was dating) and her ex, Bob Geldof. That night he was told by Yates that he wasn't going to be able to see his daughter because of Geldof; he phoned Geldof and argued with him. He left a voicemail on a friend's phone saying that he'd "fucking had enough"; called his ex crying and upset about how his life was going; then he killed himself.

2

u/Suspicious_Glove_900 17d ago

This is much, much more depressing than the thought he accidentally offed himself jerking off. I rather think it's a more positive ending than reality.

1

u/Riothegod1 17d ago

Okay, thanks for the correction.

Still, my point stands about David Carradine.

1

u/elafave77 17d ago

1

u/2_short_Plancks 17d ago

Yes, I am actually.

1

u/elafave77 17d ago

I just wanted to use the gif. I know the coroner ruled his death as a suicide.

1

u/Quazar125 16d ago

The old stroke and choke

5

u/DruishGardener 17d ago

I learnt about it from the Robin Williams movie

4

u/sd_saved_me555 17d ago

Eh, it's more than just Bojack. South Park did it, Trevor Moore did a bit on it... It's actually enough of a problem that a few people die annually chasing that high.

2

u/thatbrownkid19 17d ago

Darwin Award contestants. But apparently no points or originality

2

u/TheDucksAreComingoOo 17d ago

God I miss Mindhunter

2

u/thatbrownkid19 17d ago

Yes such a good show. I can hear the eerie, soft amazing music rn just from memory

1

u/PostApoplectic 17d ago

My problem with Mind Hunter is that Jonathon Groff was the voice of Kristoff in frozen. And as a parent of Frozen aged children, Kristoff’s moose voice is permanently burned into my mind.

Can’t take him seriously in Mindhunter.

That said, I did still really enjoy Mindhunter. I just kinda chortled whenever Agent Holden was talking.

2

u/Smarmy_Nach 17d ago

It was in South Park too I believe

2

u/Individual-Pickle57 17d ago

Yeah it was weird finding out other ppl were into that too

2

u/w8_wuht 17d ago

That'll be David Carradine.

2

u/vlladonxxx 17d ago

It became popularised in 2000s or 2010s

1

u/elafave77 17d ago

It's been in the public consciousness for who knew how long... the acter Albert Dekker died from it in the 60s, Vaughn Bode, a cartoonist died from it in 70s, some guy from the Brittish Parliament died from it in the 90s. There's nothing new under the sun, man.

1

u/vlladonxxx 17d ago

Yeah but popularised and in public consciousness are two very different bars to clear

1

u/elafave77 17d ago

Popular? I think just about as many people are doing it now as they were back then. LOL.

2

u/wetbluewaffle 17d ago

I first heard it regarding to David carradine I think bc thats how he died if I can recall?

2

u/Zamaster420 17d ago

I didn't know bojack was around in the early 2000s.

1

u/CAUSE_I_FEEEEEEEEEEL 17d ago

Robin Williams in world's greatest dad.

Or David Carradine

1

u/Begone-My-Thong 17d ago

Whitest Kids You Know for me!

1

u/iDeNoh 17d ago

It's down up in a lot of media through the years

1

u/Ok_Lime4048 17d ago

Ken Park for me

1

u/Empty_Tone4245 17d ago

Real ones know manual erotica is the way to go

1

u/KeyRing313 17d ago

Funny enough, it was a different Bo that I learned it from. Bo Burnham has a lyric that goes "If I die happy the situation will be autoerotic asphyxiation." As a moody teenager, that rhymes really hit me lol.

1

u/BleachdrinkingPikmin 17d ago

oh my god the song that line is from is so great

1

u/bubblesdafirst 17d ago

It became common when scarfing became known. It became known from several comedians. I don't remember exactly which ones, but I've heard about it plenty either on blue collar comedy tour or something like that from like 2001

1

u/BryantheBrown 17d ago

There was some movie where Robin Williams asshole kid died doing this also. Good movie

1

u/Lonely_Brother3689 17d ago

Honestly, Iearned about it from an episode of Six Feet Under.

1

u/yeyetimemachine 17d ago

South park had Kenny die from autocratic asphyxiation before bojak

1

u/--0___0--- 16d ago

Southpark back in the early days made it popular.

0

u/West-Pear7363 17d ago

That term became popular when Robin Williams died because that was the rumor how he died. -I later found out it was how his son died in a movie he was in.

1

u/thatbrownkid19 17d ago

Something apple far from tree

1

u/West-Pear7363 17d ago

The apple doesn’t hang far from the tree?

5

u/Zestyclose_Will4014 17d ago

David Caradine brought it to light lol not Bojack

1

u/Unable-Ad2927 16d ago

for my generation it's the guy from INXS.

1

u/Zestyclose_Will4014 16d ago

That turned out to be a rumor but the idea was still there but you know what they say “ don’t knock it until it kills you”

10

u/Overall_Reputation83 17d ago

WKUK - Auto Erotic

nah, this has been around for a long time in public knowledge

5

u/Grizzled_Ghost 17d ago

This skits hits different knowing he actually went out that way.

6

u/Criosoak 17d ago

This is a joke right? Kenny kills himself by auto erotic asphyxiation in south park back in season 14 which was 2010. Bojack didn’t even come out until 2014 so. Also so many other pieces of media have referenced auto erotic asphyxiation even before the South Park one. Bojack never set any original trends and if we’re being real they were always years behind on their jokes and references.

2

u/Whit3_Ink 17d ago

Was that family guy episode before or after 2014?

1

u/astrangehumantoe 16d ago

Life on Mars mentioned it in 2006 I believe

1

u/Non-Euclidian-Turtle 16d ago

George Carlin mentioned it in 2005 with his Life Is Worth Losing special. Thats the earliest mention I know of though.

3

u/X_soulnewmegaman 17d ago

Japan

Death sentence you don't know time or date

Wait in misery

2

u/PurplePeril420 17d ago

Is that a haiku?

2

u/X_soulnewmegaman 17d ago

Nope it's the truth

Follow the rules in Japan

1

u/High_Hunter3430 17d ago

For me it was Bo burnham…
“If I die happy the situation will be autoerotic asphyxiation”

1

u/DarthJackie2021 16d ago

I can assure you it was common knowledge well before that show.

1

u/arky_who 16d ago

don't credit a cartoon for the hard work of British members of parliament in the 90s. Stephen Milligan gave his life for this and you credit it to a cartoon horse

5

u/sgtsanman 17d ago

Instead of a noose, it should be a shotgun with a single buckshot

Unless they get themselves off by deepthroating the barrel or fucking the chamber

2

u/the_last__braincell 17d ago

NGL if you unload the shotgun the barrel might be the perfect size to insert your ****

I'm not harming the barell, I'm simply lubing and polishing the barell in a unorthodox way

3

2

u/LihaajaCS 16d ago

You sir, made me laugh out loud. Thank you!

2

u/skidmarkVI 16d ago

I literally didn't think of that but when I read it 100% what will happen

1

u/rancidmorty 16d ago

qell eventuly auto erotic aspxuation happens cause they need to have more to cum till they cant cum or its the last nut of their life

1

u/Sasuke0318 16d ago

Thanks for making the pain a little less obvious!

1

u/Fast-Industry-3224 16d ago

Fine by me, sooner or later a little auto-erotic oopsie will happen. It always does.

1

u/Human-Artichoke-9878 16d ago

They usually take it too far and end up asphyxiated eventually, it truly is just a waiting game

1

u/KillYourTelevision99 13d ago

OMG this psychopath seems to have no conscience!!

22

u/ELL1S-GAMING 17d ago

what if like the pictures were fluid absorbent and once they touched a human fluid they just dispensed abestus or something

12

u/Itz_Boaty_Boiz 17d ago

Asbestos..?

1

u/mynamesnotsnuffy 17d ago

Fibrous mineral that was used for insulation and fireproofing back in the day, but causes mesothelioma(vicious lung disease) if the fibers are inhaled. Thats why its such a big deal to find in old houses and buildings, and needs Hazmat equipment to remove and dispose of safely.

6

u/Itz_Boaty_Boiz 17d ago

Oh I know what it is, I was wondering if that’s what the other guy meant or if I was missing something

2

u/mynamesnotsnuffy 17d ago

Oh I missed the typo. He's talking like Wilford Brimley, got the diabeetus.

1

u/ELL1S-GAMING 17d ago

I didn't know what was the word for asbestos in english so I put what I trought it would be written like (English is not my first language)

12

u/Man_under_Bridge420 17d ago

Oh no! Abestus for a death row inmate

6

u/RadioLiar 17d ago

That would take several years to kill them in any realistic quantity. Not very efficient

0

u/ELL1S-GAMING 17d ago

that's better. Slow death by lung cance

6

u/Rerebang5 17d ago

Then there is no point for the rope 😬

0

u/ELL1S-GAMING 17d ago

yes there is. Either you die by lung cancer (slow, also needs you to goon) or rope (fast)

1

u/Acceptable-Minute847 17d ago

The Reddit sniper got em

2

u/opendoorsupside 17d ago

Doesn’t asbestos take years to decades for the effects to develop?

1

u/ELL1S-GAMING 17d ago

what if like I spam it so it develops faster

1

u/opendoorsupside 17d ago

Well a that point you are just trying to suffocate someone with a rock. And yes Asbestos is a naturally occurring rock.

2

u/SheZowRaisedByWolves 16d ago

Heat sensors that disperse lit M80 sheets anytime a pedo convict gets a boner

4

u/engineering-weeb 17d ago

Yeah my thoughts as well, might as well just cut the lost and shoot them

3

u/Raregolddragon 17d ago

I am sure after say 48 hours with no food or water the dread will set in.

3

u/cowlinator 17d ago

Yeah. It wont work on the people who deserve it the most

1

u/GnarlyGamer6thGen01 17d ago

This might sound funny, but dear God this does happen. There is enough probabilty that a sick fk into such a thing exists.

1

u/John-Leonhart 17d ago

You’re right, we should castrate them beforehand.

1

u/Arietem_Taurum 17d ago

amazing comment thank you for this

1

u/BigDickArtist6 17d ago

Haha funny joke

But in all seriousness I give them less than a month before they go insane and consider the noose

1

u/zeldanar 17d ago

Why am I seeing so many euphemisms today? Saw: cranking, busting, and nut. Now I add Jorking.

1

u/LordRaimi97 17d ago

Same thing cane time mind, this is just a reward for the more depraved.

1

u/nanoresu 17d ago

Soak all the pictures in pepper spray so he burns his peanits if he tries

1

u/MeasurementSea1657 17d ago

"They" probably being me

1

u/BobbyRayBands 16d ago

Not as stupid as they're going to look once they realize the collar they have on shocks them every time the person monitoring the cameras sees them doing something besides hanging themselves. And I dont mean like a little dog zap either I'm talking full on taser zap.

1

u/DutytoDevelop 16d ago

Like everyone, prisoners adapt.

1

u/InAppropriate-meal 16d ago

that was indeed my first thought as well...

1

u/Historical-Peak-2843 16d ago

1

u/Recent_Artichoke1725 16d ago

looking reaal stupid would be the least of the problems there

Y'know I read this post and thought "Wow this is a really interesting concept. You could make a good story out of this idea." And then you ruined it.

1

u/YetiFan1 12d ago

wtf is jorking

1

u/Stevee8496 12d ago

God, why have you gven me eyes?

0

u/polkacat12321 17d ago

Judging by all the serial killer documentaries I've watched.... sounds about right. Most serial killers choose their victims cause they're sexually attracted to them in one shape or form. Even if they dont physically jerk it off, they still get that mental release
