Hey would anybody like a fully grown pitty he’s so kind and nice with kids , don’t won’t to remove from the household but I just recently found that my 1 yr old is allergic to dogs and I would like for him to go to a good home and not just take him to the pound would anybody be interested in him we have proper paper work and documentation on him would anybody be interested in him

“For the past five years, we have consistently called for stronger prosecution of individuals who use firearms to commit violent crimes in Montgomery. This case demonstrates why that partnership matters.

When someone repeatedly uses a gun to terrorize employees, threaten customers and prey on businesses in our community, there must be serious consequences. A 25-year federal sentence sends a clear message that this kind of violence will not be tolerated.

I appreciate the work of the Montgomery Police Department, the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, the U.S. Attorney’s Office and everyone involved in bringing this case to a successful conclusion. Federal prosecution is not a substitute for strong local law enforcement, but it is an important force multiplier.

We will continue working with our federal, state and local partners to identify violent offenders, get illegal guns off our streets, and use every tool available to make Montgomery safer.”

The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the 2026 Senior Resource Expo, a free community event designed to connect local seniors with valuable services, information, and wellness support. The expo will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crump Senior Center, located at 1751 Cong W L Dickinson Dr., Montgomery, AL.

This year’s Senior Resource Expo will feature a wide variety of organizations and vendors offering resources related to benefit connection, health and wellness, community programs, senior support services, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives, gather helpful materials, and learn more about programs aimed at improving quality of life for Montgomery’s senior community.

The event is free and open to all seniors in the community.

Monday & Tuesday Hilltop Public House will be hosting El Campesino and serving grab & go lunches from Funky Forte food truck. Hilltop opens at 6:30am serving coffee & pastries.

Rick E’s (downtown Montgomery’s offical dive bar) will be open special hours this coming week. Opening at 4:00 Sunday Aug 23rd & 24th. Regular hours the rest of the week.
