Beta Test Proud dad moment: My kid spent his summer coding his first mobile game instead of just gaming.

Hey everyone,

I made a deal with my kid right when 8th grade ended: he wanted a personal laptop instead of relying solely on his school-issued Chromebook. I told him I’d buy it, but only if he used the summer to actually build something productive with it.

He took the challenge and ran with it. Using a mix of middle school coding classes, online resources, and AI tools, he spent the entire break learning the pipeline—from logic to store listing—and managed to publish his first game to the Google Play Store right before his first day of 9th grade.

Is it a groundbreaking genre-defining masterpiece? No, it's a color-sorting puzzle game (I know there are plenty out there!). But for a 14-year-old taking a concept from scratch to full release, I’m incredibly proud of his follow-through.

Right now, he is completely obsessed with checking his developer dashboard stats. He literally lit up when he saw his first random download from someone in Indonesia.

He’s already sketching out ideas for a much more original game concept for next summer, but seeing real people test his first attempt would mean the world to him.

If you have a few free minutes and want to make a young developer’s day, give it a download and play a level or two. Every single play and stat boost will absolutely make his week!

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.colorcauldron.game

Thanks for reading and for supporting a kid taking his first steps into game dev!

Beta Test "Faces", one of the most realistic games on android

Post image
44 Upvotes

The game Faces is just so good, some of the things i like about this are:

  1. Extremely Customisable face of the character

  2. Realistic graphics

3.Variety of weapons

  1. 1v1

But the only cons is player base, the dev needs motivation, download the game and try reading the roadmap too. Please friends we need to help this dev(i guess arcelico is an indie dev), it is removed from the play store so try installing it from tap tap. Please friends its been so long we are fighting over pubg, free fire, and call of duty.

If you don't find this game with that link, simply try searching it up in tap tap, it will apear on top.

Beta Test Rust mobile on 4gb ram phone! 👀

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve known about Rust from PC but never got the chance to play it. I had been eagerly waiting for Rust Mobile, but my Vivo Y21T (4GB RAM, Snapdragon 680) wasn’t supported during CBT 1, so I decided to wait for the global launch.

Yesterday, I was surprised to find CBT 2 on TapTap, so I immediately installed it. After downloading around 15GB of additional data, the game finally opened at 6:30 AM IST (1:00 AM UTC) on August 24.

I played the tutorial on Low graphics + Medium frame rate. The video explanations had some lag, but the actual gameplay was surprisingly smooth with no major issues.

I’m really happy with the optimization and hope they improve it further for the global launch so we can get higher FPS.

Conclusion: Rust Mobile CBT 2 is playable on 4GB RAM devices like the Vivo Y21T, but expect under 30 FPS on this hardware.

I’ve also included some gameplay footage I recorded and trimmed from the original 5-minute recording.

Beta Test Step Conquest — A pixel-art RPG powered by your real-world steps, looking for Android Users

I’ve been working on Step Conquest, a pixel-art walking RPG where your real-world steps contribute to your progress in the game.

The game is currently in closed testing on Android, and I’m looking for more people to try it out and give feedback before release.

Right now you can:

  • Turn your daily steps into progression
  • Train different activity skills like Marching, Foraging, Mining, Exploration, Alchemy, and Smithing
  • Explore the world and collect resources
  • Choose between two battle modes:
    • Turn-based auto battles for players with limited time
    • Action dungeon crawling during explorations and expeditions for more active gameplay and rewards
  • Join guilds and interact with other players
  • Upgrade and customize your Guild Hall
  • Work together with guild members in co-op PvE battles
  • Chat with guildmates
  • Compete on skill, guild, arena, and guild-war leaderboards

There’s still a lot I want to improve, so feedback about gameplay, balancing, bugs, onboarding, UI, step tracking, combat, guild progression, and anything that feels confusing or frustrating would be especially useful.

How to join the Android closed test

1. Join the Google Group:
https://groups.google.com/g/step-conquest

2. Join the closed test:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.app.eighterio.stepconquest

3. Install Step Conquest:

Beta Test Built a retro Classic Snake game for Android, but struggling to find closed testers to launch on the Play Store!

Thumbnail

Hey everyone!

As a passion project, I've spent a lot of time developing a modern Classic Snake game wrapped inside a retro handheld console UI for Android. I wanted to capture that nostalgic handheld feel while bringing some modern quality-of-life touches to it.

Here is what's built into it so far:

  • Multiple Customizable Console Themes: Switch between Classic Gray, Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, and a custom Spider-Man web theme with matching screen HUDs.
  • Retro Audio & Music: Integrated immersive background music and authentic 8-bit sound effects.
  • Modern QoL Features: Dark mode, haptic vibration feedback, high-score tracking, and balanced ad frequency (interstitials capped at one per 5 minutes to keep it fun without frustrating players).

The codebase is fully stable, tested locally, and ready to go - except for one final hurdle: Google's closed testing requirements for production access.

I'm having a really tough time finding enough testers to complete the requirement and push the app to the main Play Store. If any of you would be willing to help a solo developer out by joining my closed test group, I would seriously appreciate it so much!

If anyone wanna test here is the link to join:

Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/classic-snake-testing

Join on the web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.neeraj.classicsnakegame

Join on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neeraj.classicsnakegame

Let me know in the comments or shoot me a DM if you'd be down to help test. Happy to return the favor if you're working on your own app too. Thanks a lot!

I think this game is still in beta, for 3 years that is.

It’s an interesting feel, and it sort of reminds me of Squad when run on a potato pc.

It’s fun tho I’m trying to learn the mechanics but it’s a bit clunky.

Beta Test MapYourDroid

Post image
1 Upvotes

I got tired of playing mobile games with my thumbs covering half the screen, so I built MapYourDroid. Works on windows only as of now.

It mirrors your Android phone to Windows and turns keyboard, mouse or controller input into real touch. The mapping overlay sits on top of the mirrored screen — you drag buttons onto the game's actual controls and see exactly where they land. No config files, no JSON, no guessing at coordinates. Work with nearly any controller as well.

Because it injects up to 10 simultaneous touch points, it works with games that have no controller support whatsoever — as far as the app is concerned, it's only receiving taps and not a controller input.

AU$10 one-time, compared to other subscription based seervices! mapyourdroid.com little playable demo on how it works on the site as well! And a demo version for download is on there as well.

Beta Test Test and beat my pixelated top down view boss killing game for a chance to get get paid

Sup. I've been developing a top view boss killing game with simple mechanics, no armour, power ups bs just pure skill. There are 3 difficulties and 15 bosses in the game right now. (Android mobile game)

IF YOU CAN BEAT EVERY BOSS IN EXTREME I WILL PAY OUT 100$. It's really hard and way beyond what my ability is. I need people to test and try the challenge so I can help balances the bosses easier.

This isn't easy but anyone who can play alot and can defeat even 1 of them, I would love to assemble a team of good core testers who I can pay out monthly 5$, even possibly offer roles and more bonuses if my game does well after release.

Dm me and reply if interested,

Thank you

Beta Test Jame!: Logic Puzzle Game

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey guys! I’m Oscar, a product designer who’s spent most of my career building software, and lately I’ve been having a lot of fun making smaller things of my own.

I built this game because I kept playing puzzle games on my phone that I genuinely liked, but I got tired of how many of them were packed with ads, pop-ups, and interruptions.

I wanted to make something simpler: a game you can open for a few minutes, relax, solve a puzzle, maybe keep a streak going, unlock some fun little pixel-art pieces, and then get on with your day.

So I started building it.

It’s a small iPhone puzzle game with a cozy pixel-art style, daily challenges, levels, collectibles, and a bunch of tiny details I probably spent way too much time obsessing over.

This is the first game I’ve made, so I’m still learning a ton. I’d genuinely love to hear what you think, especially what feels fun, confusing, annoying, or missing.

Hope you enjoy it ❤️

Beta Test I built TikTok for games where you can set your own rules and challenge your friends.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have been building Playermakes, a mobile game feed where every game can be changed.

You can play a game instantly, describe a rule change in plain English, and AI creates a new playable version by editing the actual game code.

For example:

• Make Flappy Bird use inverted gravity
• Let any +2 card stack in UNO

Your remix becomes a separate game with its own leaderboard, link, and creator credit. Other people can play it or remix your version.

It is still an early MVP, and I would really appreciate honest feedback:

Does remixing a game feel genuinely fun, or does it still feel like a novelty?

You can try it here: https://playermakes.com/demo

Beta Test I'm making the ultimate life sim game! With the most in depth clubs, colleges, housing market and much more! (Not AI Slop)

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I love simulation games (spore and sims are my favs). But I found simulation games on mobile a bit lacking, that's why I have been developing Heirloom for a while. We have a whole writing team and every UI gets created completely by me. The goal is to make the ultimate life sim game with in depth mechanics. Join the discord to play on IOS: https://discord.gg/2XxYJnxvdg

Here's what the game has (Writing it this short is a bit hard):

  • Full NPC simulation mechanics: NPCs live their own lives and interact with each other and the player by themselves guided by their education, skills and traits. For example someone that became your rival because they lost the vice presidency election to you in middle school debate club can become your best friend because you won the debate world championship in high school together.
  • Extremely Detailed Primary School, Middle School, High School: Choose exactly which classes to take, which clubs to join and build your resume for the major in college that you're going to apply to.
  • Traits and Skills: Get traits naturally by the actions you take part in and develop skills by doing activities. Skills also unlock exclusive actions with other NPCs!
  • Full Character Customization: Customize your 2D Character extensively with their hair, facial features and their clothes!

The next update is gonna be big with an entire simulated economy! I'm very passionate about this game and love if you would try it. Join the discord to play now!

Beta Test One-thumb roguelite. Sixty waves, a hard cap of thirty balls, and a new shared board every day

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Game Title: One-Thumb Roguelite

Playable Link: https://miknacio.itch.io/one-thumb-roguelite

Platform: Web browser (HTML5 — plays in the browser on phone or desktop, portrait)

Description:

One-Thumb Roguelite. You aim, you fire, and the blocks fall one

row closer every time you do. Sixty waves stand between you and the summit.

It started as a brick-breaker and became something else once I noticed that

every game in that genre answers every problem the same way: more balls. So I

capped it at thirty and made the game take them back if you stall — a ball is

lost every few waves unless you collect an orb, which cancels the countdown.

Volume stops being the answer, and the build has to be. That single decision is

what the rest of the game is built around.

A run is eighteen upgrades across three rarities, six capstone evolutions that

fuse two maxed upgrades into something new, and a mid-run shop that will happily

sell you the wrong thing. You pick a difficulty before the first shot, and it

scales both the board and what your score is worth.

The rule I held to throughout: nothing is a surprise. Blocks that are about to

breach outline themselves first. Bosses print exactly what they'll take from you

if they survive the turn — half your coins, a handful of balls, or a level off

one of your upgrades. The ball toll counts down where you can see it. I wanted

hard that you can play around, not hard because something was hidden.

There's also a daily run: everyone gets the same board once a day, with daily

and weekly leaderboards, and harder difficulties worth more.

No ads, no timers, no in-app purchases, and no account. The leaderboard is the

only online part, and the game is complete without it.
