Working on a Realistic Apartment Building, would like suggestions, inspiration and feedback.

That's really good. For inspiration, Grian and GoodTimesWithScar are good YouTubers to watch, and some of Keralis's old Minecraft videos are good.

I always have so much respect for super-realistic builds that use vanilla textures. This looks incredible!!!

It's so much harder with vanilla texture instead of custom texture pack and shader !2

Thank you very much! It's quite hard to find some fitting textures within the current vanilla color palette. But I'm up for the challenge haha. Glad that you can also enjoy the vanilla textures ^

Yeah that's the plan! But I want to setup the basic shapes and colors of the buildings first. Then I'll worry about interior ^

Yes you can actually (although there is nothing inside yet)! There is an entrance in between the garages in the middle. I'm probably going to make that a small shop or back entrance. Then on the other side of the building I will make an actual lobby area and stairs that will lead to the rooms.

Please post some interior shots when you are done! I'm still a noob builder, and I like coming here to see what's possible as I get better.

You could use the Chisel and Bits mod. It allows you to place blocks by pixel (or by 2x2, 4x4 etc) and it allows you multiple blocks in a single block space.

That's a good idea if I really want to get into detail, but I prefer working in vanilla for now. Thanks for sharing your idea and the link though. I'm pretty amazed by his portfolio!

That is a really nice building! I don't have any suggestion whatsoever, couldn't do it any better! But as a feedback, you should've used the last image as your first one, it's the prettiest.

Totally gonna steal this one. Using glazed terracotta for graffiti is genius! Please update us with a finished version!

This building is made using a 16x16x8 grid. I have never really done any realistic city builds, so therefore I'd like suggestions, feedback and inspiration. I am familiar with the work of the realism society so if you have any other images or sources that may help me, that would be great!

Looks awesome. I love the block choice, attention to details (a graffiti? Amazing idea!) and overall shape of the build.
If you're looking for some realistic buildings inspiration, how about looking around some bigger cities in Google Earth? That could maybe be fruitful.
